Wine tastings are a wonderful example of edutainment (education + entertainment). The best way to learn and have fun is to know HOW to do a wine tasting. Why do we swirl the wine in the glass? <a href="https://www.bostondance.org/">Boston Dance Studios (BDS),</a> a black woman-owned non-profit dance studio in Boston founded to revive the space once held by the iconic Jeannette Neill Dance Studio, is excited to present its 1st Annual Fall Showcase on Saturday, November 9th. Attendees can expect live performances from local choreographers, along with BDS faculty and students, including Salih Bost, Tarikh Campbell, Dalin Celamy, Tess Saoirse Liddy, Bruna Peixoto, Liya Foux, Valkyrie Heels Crew, Veeva Banga &amp; Hannah Ranco, Lilly Reyes with Kiniscape, and Isiah "Move Like Zay" Beasley. BDS’s 1st Annual Fall Showcase aims to bring Boston’s dance community together and celebrate the diverse dance talent throughout the city. Beacon Hill’s The Tip Tap Room partners with the Boston Celtics and Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers to bring the Larry O’Brien trophy to their restaurant. Prezza and Fine Wine Specialist, Dan Michaud of Ruby Wines, invite guests to experience a rare tasting of the iconic and unique wines of Chareau Musar on October 23 at 6:30 p.m. The evening will kick-off with a glass of 2022 Jeune Blanc paired with Short Rib Hummus with spicy harissa, crispy shallots and warm pita bread. Guests will then enjoy a glass of 2021 Leventine and 2020 Hochar Pere Et Files paired with Wood Grilled Octopus Skewers with smokey romesco sauce, salsa verde and chermoula. After that, a glass of 1997 CH. Musar Blanc, 2012 CH. Musar Blanc and 2017 CH. Musar Blanc will be paired with Wood Grilled Swordfish with tahini, lemon parsley and cous cous and lobster, chickpeas, and harissa spiced tomato sauce.  Continuing on with the night, guests will sip on a glass of 1997 CH. Musar Rouge, 2012 CH. Musar Rouge and 2017 CH. Musar Rouge paired with Braised Chicken Thigh with mushrooms and dried fig and Grilled Lamb Chop with roasted carrots, honey glaze, feta cheese, watercress and Lebanese rice. Finish the night off with a glass of Arak Du Musar paired with Olive Oil Pound Cake with crème, anglaise, crème fraiche, strawberries and mint.  This is a seven-course tasting menu priced at $200 per person and includes tax and gratuity.
