Summer SOLSTICE at Mount Auburn 

Join us for a lively day of events celebrating Summer SOLSTICE at Mount Auburn! Replenish your mind, body, and soul at Summer SOLSTICE on Sunday, June 21. With offerings of free and paid activities including mindfulness walks, yoga, a cyanotype making workshop, meditation, a poetry reading, community concert, and a sound bath, Summer SOLSTICE will be a restorative and healing experience for people of all ages. Please note: most programs require registration, please register for individual events on Eventbrite. Yoga for Awakening with Artemis Yoga

Step onto your mat and embrace the awakening energy of late spring in this rejuvenating yoga class with Artemis Yoga. As May comes into full bloom, let the tranquility of Mount Auburn inspire your practice. You are invited to move with intention, breathe with purpose, and awaken your inner vitality through the grace of yoga. In this uplifting class, you will explore both dynamic and restorative postures, finding balance between effort and ease. All levels are welcome and the class can be adapted based on participants. Students should be comfortable kneeling or lying down on the mat. This series will occur monthly in April, May, and June, offering a variety of yogic styles each session This class will be held outside, check in will be outside of Story Chapel. What to bring:<ul><li>A yoga mat (available to rent for an additional $5)</li><li>Comfortable attire</li><li>Water bottle</li><li>An intention or reflection you’d like to hold for yourself</li></ul>... Mindfulness Walk at Mount Auburn

Join <a href="https://www.stefaniehaug.com/">Stefanie Haug (LICSW</a>), ecotherapist and nature and meditation guide for a mindful springtime nature walk designed to help you both slow down and “wake up.” Slowly walking together, participants will engage in pausing to notice budding leaves, shifting light, and the quiet hum of renewal. Along the way, you’ll be guided with simple meditative prompts to reconnect to your breath, your senses, and the subtle energy of new beginnings unfolding all around you. As the natural world stretches into bloom all around us, feel your spirit awaken alongside it. Come as you are. Suitable for all ages and bodies and interests. Slow-paced walk around the cemetery with pauses and a chance to sit and observe. Bring water and something to sit on, if desired. This series will occur monthly, offering a variety of events centered around awareness and nature, featuring topics such as Forest Bathing, Sound Meditation, Nature Mindfulness, and more. This month's session will be held outdoors, please dress accordingly with the weather. Check-in for this month's event will be outside Story Chapel. ... Stefanie Haug, LICSW (she/her) guides people on journeys of self-awareness and relationship with nature as a local psychotherapist and certified Mindful Outdoor Guide (Kripalu). Her international career has spanned the corporate and nonprofit world with a focus on the wellbeing of humans and the more-than-human world. Stefanie is a lifelong nature lover and can often be found outdoors in all types of locations and weather, taking it all in with a sense of wonder, humor and calm. ...
