Strummerville Ukulele Strum-along at Cambridge Public Library's Park Sounds Series!

We've been invited to share our ukulele spirit with the good people of Cambridge via the Cambridge Public Library's Main Branch "Park Sounds" series. Tell your friends! All levels are welcome. SATURDAY 6/29/24, at 1:30pm. We'll be meeting at Joan Lorentz Park, adjacent to the Cambridge Public Library's Main Branch as part of their "CPL PARK SOUNDS" series! Remember to bring your uke, a chair, a music stand (if you have one) and a beverage to stay hydrated. There will be a limited amount of SONG PACKETS available. Strummin' up to Boston! The Ukulele Festival!

Produced in partnership with Newton Cultural Development, STRUMMIN' UP TO BOSTON! is a gathering of some of the finest, most fun-loving ukulele groups for miles. Sharing the enjoyment and beauty of our favorite humble little instrument. A great time to see old friends and make new ones. Foot stomping' performances by EIGHT ukulele ensembles from all around! Delicious food trucks! Unique vendor booths! Door prizes and remember to bring your uke for a big ol' Strum-along! A whole day of fun!

Good citizens of Strummerville, that's you! Grab your uke and join us as we sing and strum the hits! Come one, come all! All levels welcome! We love playing popular songs badly and singing loudly. If you don't have a uke, get in touch and we’ll bring a spare for you to play for the evening. What to expect&nbsp;at our meetups:&nbsp;Doors open at 6:00pm.&nbsp;Come have dinner with the "cool kids" before hand.&nbsp;Regular festivities start at 7pm. The first 45 minutes we'll play and sing songs from our well-loved A, B, C and the new D songbooks, we then take a 15 min snack break. Then back to it until 9pm.
