Restorative and Yoga Nidra with Sound Healing

Join Tonya for an amazing hour and half of DEEP relaxation. This is the perfect workshop after all the holiday craziness and a nice way to reset your nervous system in preparation for the new year. Tonya will guide you through various restorative poses which will end in a guided meditation meant to bring you deep into your subconscious where you will find the sweetest peace imaginable. And if that weren't enough, Spira will play Crystal Singing Bowls to add sound healing to the experience.&nbsp;

The Embody School

Vinyasa and Vibrations

A 90 minute experience designed to realign the mind, body, and soul. Usher in the changing of seasons with Loula as she guides you through a sequence of postures, breath work, meditation, and sound healing.&nbsp; This creative flow, based on Ayurvedic principles of aligning with the elements of nature, will last 60 minutes. The class will end with restorative postures and a long savasana accompanied by the sounds of Himalayan and Crystal singing bowls. Hands on assists and reiki will be provided. Allow yourself to transition through this seasonal shift with grace and ease utilizing Ayurveda’s ancient wisdom.&nbsp; 90 minutes of shedding layers, finding clarity, and ground into the earth and water&nbsp;elements. As we shift into fall and winter, the air and ether elements increase giving rise to excess vata dosha in the mind, body, and spirit. This can cause fatigue but the inability to sleep, increase in anxiety, and overall feelings of being untethered. This class will appease the craving for grounding and deep nourishment.&nbsp; Loula will lead you through an Ayurvedic based Vinyasa flow designed to tether while uplifting you amidst the chaos of Fall’s swirly energy. This steady, warming, fluid flow will be followed by restorative postures to reset and calm the nervous system. Hands on assists and reiki will be provided. All of this followed by a sound bath soaked savasana for the ultimate relaxation experience. Allow yourself to be lulled into serenity as you integrate all you have experienced during practice.&nbsp;

Created by Dr. David Berceli, PhD, TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. Intro to Art Journaling

Art journaling is a great way to express your thoughts and feelings when words fail you. It's also therapeutic and a great tool to add to your mental health toolkit. There is no experience or skills needed to get started. I'll teach you everything you need to know to begin this great practice and from there you can continue on your own or join us in future gatherings. All materials are provided and included in the workshop fee. However, you will also receive a list of suggested materials in case you'd like to purchase some of your own. Spaces are limited to 10.

Restorative yoga is a beautifully nourishing practice that allows the body to release tension and open up, and the mind to relax. We support the body in a few floor based poses with props like blankets, pillows and blocks, ensuring comfort and ease. As we bring mindful attention to our body and breath, we take much needed time for self care, resetting and healing - promoting&nbsp;a sense of well being. After preparing the body and mind thus, we will move into a deeply relaxing yoga nidra practice. This is a powerful guided meditation that connects you to all aspects of your being. You will rest comfortably as you are guided. It helps you relieve stress and trauma, and sleep better. It has the power to transform at deep levels, as it helps you connect to yourself and manifest your deepest desires. You are welcome to be in your pajamas! You are welcome to join online or in person. If on Zoom, feel free to set up your space with candles and/or music, and dim the lights.

Crystal Sound Bowl Immersion

Join Spira for a blissful experience using crystal singing bowls and reiki healing energy. Studies have shown that singing bowl sound meditation can produce physiological and psychological responses, reducing negative affect and increasing positive affect, as well as improving blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate. Rest comfortably with bolsters and blankets and allow the frequencies of the sounds wash over you while receiving reiki energy directly from a Reiki Master Teacher delivered via sound. Bring anything you'd like to make it more comfortable for you.

Baby and Me Yoga

New moms! Focus on regaining body awareness after all the physical changes of pregnancy and birth. Reconnect to your core. Learn how to move with your baby and gain some infant massage skills, too! This class is for moms who are at least 4 weeks postpartum after a vaginal birth and 6 weeks postpartum after a cesarean birth with your doctor's okay. Your baby should be in the pre-crawling stage.

Join Tonya for a yoga class for the whole family! Age 4+. Connect with your children through yoga, postures, breath awareness, and relaxation.
