Back Bay Chocolate & Art Galleries Tour

Welcome to the Back Bay Chocolate &amp; Art Galleries Tour! This neighborhood is one of Boston's most beautiful and a city planning masterclass that illustrates American architecture's changing tastes and stylistic evolution throughout the mid-to-late 19th and early 20th centuries. Back Bay is also home to some excellent chocolate vendors, as well as an array of gorgeous art galleries. The group will have chocolate tastings at 4 different locations while visiting 2 art galleries to see why Back Bay is as historically significant as it is aesthetically pleasing. During this tour, we'll taste the following: <ul><li>Hot chocolate from one of the pioneers of America's artisanal chocolate industry</li><li>Cookies from a legendary New York City bakery that's expanded into Boston</li><li>Cupcakes from a delightful Newbury St dessert shop</li><li>Chocolate hazelnut cake bites from a three-story Italian goods market</li></ul>We'll also visit two art galleries: <ul><li>A contemporary art gallery showcasing both local and global talent</li><li>Another gallery featuring 50 regional and international artists, including ceramics, paintings, photographs, mobiles, works on paper, and sculpture</li></ul>And as a parting gift for joining the tour, you will be sent a post-tour email covering more of my favorite places to go, things to do, and food &amp; drink to enjoy while you're in the Boston area! Welcome to the North End Pastry Tour! This neighborhood is the city's oldest residential community, inhabited since it was colonized in the 1630s. Home to roughly 95 restaurants and 3 stops on Boston's Freedom Trail, you'll never run out of things to learn and places to try here. The North End is also home to some wonderful bakeries, each with their own unique characteristics and baked goods that they do best. The group will have tastings at 4 different locations while learning about the North End's rich history and its contribution to the growth of both Boston and America as a whole. During this tour, we'll taste the following:<ul><li>Sfogliatella from an underground bakery in a tucked-away alley</li><li>Tiramisu from a café with 33 different varieties of tiramisu to choose from</li><li>Florentine cannoli from a 24/7 bakery that's been a North End institution since 1926</li><li>Chocolate ganache from a family-owned bakery that's been on Hanover St since 1930</li></ul>And as a parting gift for joining the tour, you will be sent a post-tour email covering more of my favorite places to go, things to do, and food &amp; drink to enjoy while you're in the Boston area!
