Inspired by the rhythms of autumn and the Metal element in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this is a time of clearing the lungs, softening the gut, and honoring the emotions we’ve stored beneath the surface. Together, we’ll create space for stillness, awareness, and healing. Through breath, gentle movement, TCM teas, journaling, and inward reflection, you’ll be guided on a journey of acknowledgment, release, and transformation. We won’t rush the process — we’ll honor it, in a space that’s both safe and deeply intentional. This workshop is both a discovery and release process, paired with education on TCM tools and practices to nurture the right organs in the right season. You’ll leave not fixed, but fortified — with tools, insights, and a quiet glow to carry forward. This gathering is for anyone navigating grief, heartbreak, or life transitions — and ready to gently explore what’s been held inside. We’ll be inviting stillness, awareness, and emotional processing through the body. Please note: This experience may be emotionally activating. 🌿 Root & Rise: A Fall Equinox Workshop with TCM & Tea Steam Yoga

A sensorial ritual for the seasonal descent into autumn — guided by the full moon, carried by breath, and softened by steam. We begin with grounding breathwork and aerial yoga to decompress the spine, expand the ribcage, and open the pathways of the lungs. From here, we enter a traditional Chinese tea steam practice (茶薰瑜伽), where the fragrant warmth of tea rises to meet the senses — flowing through the eyes, ears, skin, and lungs. This steam journey moistens dryness, nourishes lung qi, and awakens the large intestine’s natural rhythm of release. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, autumn is the season of the lungs and large intestine — the organs of breath and letting go. It is a time to refine, soften, and gather inward. In 易經, this is the moment of condensation — when the outward expansion of summer gives way to inward clarity. Under the full moon’s illumination, we align body and breath with the cycles of nature, honoring both release and receptivity. Each ceremony is attuned to the season: the tea for each workshop is chosen based on the organ to focus on supporting during this season, while the movement is designed to prepare those organs for fully receiving the benefits of the selected tea, whether detox or nourishment. This is both a restorative experience and a gentle educational workshop, sharing the ancient wisdoms of Chinese teas and their place in a holistic practice of seasonal living. Each workshop will also introduce participants to a different tea to expand your awareness and exposure to the many Chinese teas, their selection and preparation, and usages for different body types. Every participant will leave feeling renewed and empowered to take the learnings from this practice into a ritual you can continue at home. ✨ Space is intentionally limited for intimacy and presence. Winter Ayurveda and Aerial Yoga

As the seasons change, we need to change our practices and routines to move with it and to live a balanced and harmonious life. We are moving from the heat and moisture season into cold, dry, and air-like season. Ayuverda, the science of life, teaches us to slow down this time of year in our yoga practice, dietary choices, and sleep routine. This workshop will focus on special silks yoga poses , breathing methods ,food choices and herbs/spices that will aid you during the Fall months. As a SWETSTUDIO instructor Kerry will guide students through the ancient discipline of Ayurveda, which is also known as the science of life, an integrated approach to physical, mental, and emotional wellness. This day of self-care, education, and healing will conclude with a guided meditation to re-energize your body, mind, and spirit, so please bring a journal and pen or pencil. Ayurvedic kitchari and tea blends prepared by Kerry will be available for everyone to take home.

Arm Balancing Workshop

For this workshop, well explore the foundations of arm balancing and give you tips to get your body off the ground with more ease. This fun, challenging sequence of arm-balances is designed to teach you how to do arm-balances with more confidence. No matter where you are in your arm balance practice, there will be something for you to learn and practice. Expect to build strength, a deeper understanding of alignment and technique of the poses, and have fun in the process. Before we get into arm balancing, we'll begin the workshop with a short vinyasa sequence to help warm up the body and activate the necessary points in the body to prepare you for poses such as crow, Kakasana and side crow, Parva Bakanasa pose. Caitlin is passionate about helping those she connects with feel more grounded in their bodies and strengthen their inner guidance system through movement. In addition to her SwetStudio certification, Caitlin holds a 300-hour RYT certification through Yoga Alliance, a holistic health coach certification through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN), and a somatic healing certification through My Vinyasa Practice. Caitlin discovered her love for aerial arts in 2022 when she began practicing flow arts. Besides teaching at SwetStudio, Caitlin is also a graduate student at Bay Path University, studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in trauma.
