Junebug: An Improvised Space Western

Heavily inspired by the short-lived mid-2000's series Firefly, and pulling inspiration from shows like Cowboy Bebop, The Expanse, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, and other scifi properties, the show follows the crew of a Junebug class ship as they try to make a living on the outskirts of inhabited space. Come watch our talented cast of improvisers navigate the challenges of outer space &amp; close quarters, inspired by your suggestions!    No purchase or donation is necessary. However, as this is a free show, spaces are likely to fill up. Priority will be given to folks who have pre-reserved a spot online. Reserved spots will be opened to standbys if not present by show time. Please be sure to patronize the Armory cafe while you're there! Bar &amp; food sales allow the Armory to offer this space to groups like us for free, so please be sure to buy a drink or a snack and tip your bartender!

After Dinner Mint: Fresh Improv Comedy

After Dinner Mint is a little 30 minute snack of fresh improv comedy, a perfect apertif to your night out in Roslindale. Every month, we showcase a new improv show concept brought to you by seasoned comedians. Who knows what each month will bring? It could be anything from scenes inspired by someone's high school diary to puppets to an entire show set in a tollbooth - check our instagram @afterdinnermintcomedy for the latest updates. Show is only $5, or free if you attend the 7:30pm show beforehand.

Wide-eyed opportunists, scheming ne’er-do-wells, and of course, old-timey prospectors will come to life as our actors weave a new narrative every show. Come watch our hilarious improvisers weave a made-up narrative full of questionable nuclear science, silly spies, and rebuked gender norms. This show is one part nerdy, one part funny, and one part absolutely riding the recent Hollywood pop culture mashup hype. Junebug: An improvised space western parody is an improv comedy show that follows the crew of an outlaw ship as they try to make a living on the outer rim of the galaxy. The show primarily draws inspiration from major sci-fi franchises like Cowboy Bebop, Star Wars, and of course, Firefly, but with some other good nerdy references thrown in there as well. The show is serial in nature, meaning what happens one week will influence what happens the next week - tune in for the full adventure or just drop in for one episode! Either way, it'll be a blast (off) (sorry) (not sorry). Doors: 6:30PM Show: 7PM Runtime: One hour Beer &amp; cider available for purchase This is a pay-what-you-want show; you can contribute by purchasing a beverage or contributing online or at the door.
