The Climatetech Studio matched teams of entrepreneurs with cutting-edge technologies from federal and university labs during an intensive 16-week program cohort. Convening the Climatetech Community: Empowering Entrepreneurs, Building Networks, Leveraging Mentors

Join UMass Lowell Innovation Hub, Massachusetts Founders Network, MassCEC, and FedTech for an evening of networking, updates, and conversation around the Massachusetts climatetech ecosystem. Our state has a thriving climatetech ecosystem in many cities and towns. To support and expand these efforts, we’re hosting events in Lowell and Springfield. Are you a founder? Join to learn about the breadth of startup resources and funding opportunities for you. Maybe you’re a serial entrepreneur looking for your next gig. Are you an investor? Meet ambitious entrepreneurs and find rising stars for your portfolio. Are you already working in climate and sustainability? You have valuable expertise to share as mentors and advisors for climatetech ventures big and small. Are you interested and want to learn more? This is your chance to find work in climate, volunteer openings, and just explore how you can be part of the climatetech revolution! In addition to lightning talks from partners across the state, this will also be a special opportunity to learn more about the inaugural MA Climatetech Studio, a MassCEC sponsored program that matches participants with team members, cutting-edge technologies, and mentors and advisors during an intensive 16-week program cohort. All participants will receive a $15,000 stipend as well as a chance to win up to $100,000 in prize funding, additional grant funding, and a paid entrepreneur-in-residence. Massachusetts is becoming a leader in climatetech; come learn more about the ecosystem and chat with your fellow climatetech enthusiasts!&nbsp; Agenda: 5:30 pm - Doors open and networking 6:00 pm - Welcoming remarks, lightning talks from co-hosts, and Q&amp;A with presenters 6:45 pm - Networking Appetizers and light snacks will be provided. Metered parking spots are available around the building and are free after 6pm. There is also the&nbsp;HCID garage on 350.4 Dutton Street and the Edward J. Early garage on 135 Middlesex Street. Dating in 2024 is mayhem, and we're all a little exhausted.&nbsp;Are you sick of swiping endlessly?&nbsp;Burnt out from forced&nbsp;5-minute conversations at speed dating?&nbsp;Would you rather do your hobbies and hang out with your friends than go on yet another first date?&nbsp;Looking to find your person?&nbsp;&nbsp; We're here to help you get&nbsp;off the app merry-go-round and find&nbsp;organic connections in a comfortable, fun way.&nbsp;Our mission is to create a low-stress, low-stakes, low-cringe space&nbsp;to meet lots of people just outside your existing groups of friends.&nbsp; We'll have snacks, games, a bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and some surprise activities and features designed to get you talking with lots of people and find someone you click with. There will&nbsp;always&nbsp;be the option to hang out by the sidelines and continue a great conversation, or just scope out who's in the room. We all know tons of people from dating apps and other parts of our lives. Most of them are perfectly lovely humans whom we just don't have the right chemistry with.&nbsp;Bring those people to&nbsp;Mingle Mayhem! (We'll even give you a discount code to share with them!) Reach out to that person who was GREAT but not right for you, or someone who you’ve been chatting with on the apps but haven’t met in person yet.&nbsp;Where you didn't find a spark, someone else may find a flame! Someone else's "not quite" could be your "just right!" Applicants and interested entrepreneurs are encouraged to join our info session series for the Massachusetts Climatetech Studio! Are you ready to be a part of the climatetech revolution? The Massachusetts Climatetech Studio, powered by MassCEC and FedTech, is now accepting applications for its inaugural cohort, and this is your chance to dive headfirst into this growing innovative sector. The Climatetech Studio matches teams of entrepreneurs with cutting-edge technologies from federal and university labs during an intensive 16-week program cohort. Entrepreneurs will work closely with expert coaches and advisors to assess the potential of their technologies and form strategies for successful commercialization. Each participant will receive a $15,000 stipend and have the chance to win further prize money and grant funding. There is no cost to participate, no equity taken, and the program is designed to be flexible for those working full-time.
