Water Transportation Fair at Christopher Columbus Park/Long Wharf Friday, July 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (RAIN DATE: 7/18) Celebrate the best way to get around Boston! Win fabulous prizes and participate in photo ops. Find out about all the different water transportation options the Harbor offers and how you can use it to commute, visit local restaurants, visit the Harbor Islands, get to the airport, and more. Special guests include the MBTA, Seaport Ferry, Massport, Boston Water Taxi, Wada Hoppah, Bluebikes, and more to be announced! No tickets or reservations needed. Boston Harbor Ferry Dock Tour

July is Water Transit Month! Hop aboard the ferry with the MBTA and the Seaport Ferry for a 90-minute boat ride to learn about the existing and future ferry service in Boston. We'll visit key docks in the Boston Harbor and the Mystic River. Last year, we hosted a webinar on the past, present, and future of ferry operations, and we asked water transit experts, changemakers, and ferry operators how ferries and water transit can shape our region’s transportation and connect our coastal communities. This year, they’re going to show us. This bike commuting seminar is geared toward sharing the knowledge and empowerment to take your bike commute year-round, and getting out on the roads, bike lanes, and pathways to get yourself to work. Join us Wednesdays on Seaport Common and enjoy treats from local businesses to thank you for commuting sustainably.
