Our secret headliner is bonkers funny, has been on TV and won stuff. They've got something awesome coming up, so we're keeping their name a secret...for now. Come to the show, you'll be very pleased. Angela Sawyer at Roslindale Comedy

Angela Sawyer is a professional middle-aged nice-lady, very artsy, who has run a boatload of weekly and monthly comedy shows in terrible bars around Boston. She has an album of zoom stories on <a href="https://angelas.bandcamp.com/album/memories-of-an-art-witch">bandcamp</a>. She also used to own a record shop named Weirdo. She has done festivals like Limestone Comedy Festival and the Boston Comedy Festival and the Blue Ridge Comedy Festival. And she has opened for famous people like Eugene Mirman and Gary Gulman. She has also done things like released two albums at the same time, fronted a hardcore band, hosted shows right inside her house, gone to school for philosophy, performed throwing cake at a lady who was throwing cake back, recorded an album inside a car, drank an absurd amount of diet coke, and a bunch of other silly stuff she has mostly forgotten because she is quite old. She still plays music around town sometimes too. Come see Angela before she leaves Boston for NYC!

Tyler Durniak at Roslindale Comedy

Tyler Durniak is an absolutely fantastic Boston comic departing for NYC to become a star! On his way out of Boston he's headlining an amazing handpicked lineup at The Square Root. The Square Root is the perfect adorable coffee shop, open every morning and with events every dang night, from bands to movies to trivia and more. They've got pizza, local brews, and of course when Owen and Angela are there they've also got some of the best comedians in New England.

Ahmed Bharoocha at Roslindale Comedy

Ahmed Bharoocha, the greatest comedian to ever live, is headlining an amazing show in Roslindale! Come hang new friends! Conan and Comedy Central veteran Ahmed Bharoocha is half Irish Catholic, half Pakistani-Indian-Burmese-Muslim, and wholly a master of punctuating striking social commentary with high-energy theatrics. During high school his family relocated from Santa Barbara to Rhode Island, where Bharoocha made the leap from Stitches Comedy Club dishwasher to open micer. In 2010 Bharoocha moved to Los Angeles and began producing weekly web shorts for the Dead Kevin YouTube channel. Bharoocha’s festival performances include Just for Laughs, Moontower, Riot L.A. and many more. Currently he plays a series regular on the Adult Swim series Dream Corp, LLC. Come see Bharoocha with a select set of local performers (including Bethany Van Delft!) and get a great brew or a tasty treat from the Square Root while you giggle. $15 Advanced/$20 At the Door!
