John Anthony's Tribute to Rod Stewart

John Anthony is an accomplished performer, musician, and popular entertainer who continues to captivate audiences around the world with his incredible Tribute to Rod Stewart. Moreover, John’s passion for performing this unique tribute acknowledges him as one of the best and unmatched impersonators in the business. Blues on Halloween

“Blues on Halloween” – 17th annual tribute to Mai Cramer’s Blues After Hours featuring Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters, Delanie Pickering, Monster Mike Welch, and Sugar Ray & the Bluetones! Proceeds to benefit the Ellie Fund for women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families. In 1978 Mai Cramer moved to Boston, joined WGBH Radio and created Blues After Hours. Mai Cramer made things happen. Cramer’s wide-ranging musical appetite — from Acoustic Blues to Jump Blues, Urban Blues and some R&B, with a little Delta Blues and a lot of South Side Chicago Blues mixed in — won her millions of ardent fans. Cambridge-based blues performer Annie Raines once said of Cramer, “Mai was a reliable and constant warm presence on the air. If you needed your blues fix, that’s where you could get it on the radio.” Mai usually leaned toward artists on the Chess or Alligator labels. So her twice-weekly listeners were practically guaranteed to hear Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter, Luther Allison, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Magic Slim and other legends. The always upbeat Cramer brought a great sense of humor and an encyclopedic knowledge of the blues to the WGBH Radio airwaves until her passing in 2002. We will remember her well…don’t miss this, the “…blues event of the year!”

Loving Karma

What happens when suffering meets compassion? As a struggling young boy, Lobsang Phuntsok was sent to a Tibetan Buddhist monastery—a life-changing process that helped him heal and find his purpose. After years as a spiritual teacher in the United States, he felt called to return to his birthplace in the remote Indian Himalayas to create Jhamtse Gatsal (Tibetan for “The Garden of Love and Compassion”), a home for wounded children like himself. This community is inspired by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s lifelong commitment to compassion and today has become a living example of how pain can be transformed into love. Loving Karma expands the Emmy-winning short film Tashi and the Monk into a feature-length documentary by returning to Jhamtse Gatsal twelve years later and picking up the stories of Lobsang, Tashi, and the new arrivals she is learning to care for. Can community and compassion really heal even the deepest wounds? Johnny Burke is an award-winning director and editor. Beneath their surface drama, his films often include an exploration of the human psyche, delving into complex issues involving trauma and interpersonal relationships with humour and an empathetic touch. His work has won various awards, including the Outstanding Short Documentary Emmy, Banff Best Film Adventure and Exploration, and Amnesty International Best Documentary. Andrew Hinton is an Emmy-winning independent documentary filmmaker based in Portland, Oregon. Originally from the UK, he produces evocative, self-shot documentaries rooted in human resilience, hope, and social change. His acclaimed work includes Tashi and the Monk, Amar, and This Is Where I Find Myself. He is father to two young children whose existence inspires daily humility and an occasional state of wonder.

CLIFF EBERHARDT One of the most original songsmiths currently on tour, Eberhardt is a highly intelligent, articulate artist whose penetrating and profound lyrics are sometimes overshadowed by his extraordinary guitar playing. JOHN GORKA Hailed by Rolling Stone as “the leading singer-songwriter of the New Folk movement,” John Gorka is perhaps the quintessential singer-songwriter of the 90’s folk scene. He won the prestigious New Folk award at the Kerrville Folk Festival, in 1984. The Art of Adventure

In 1957, world renowned wildlife artist Robert Bateman and spirited biologist Bristol Foster embarked on a global expedition in a Land Rover they called “The Grizzly Torque” – a journey that ignited a deep love of our planet and set in motion a powerful story of environmental activism through art and science. The Art of Adventure is an inspiring and deeply human documentary about the extraordinary lifelong friendship between world renowned wildlife artist Robert Bateman and fearless biologist Bristol Foster. Now in their 90’s Bob and Bristol still find sanctuary in nature. Their story is a moving reflection on legacy, mortality and the wisdom of our elders – and a reminder that humanity and nature are inseparable. Another Tequilla Sunrise

ANOTHER TEQUILA SUNRISE is America’s premier Tribute to the Eagles. Since 2001, this New England based tribute band has been delighting sell-out crowds across the country with the Eagles full catalog of music. Great live sets of music that encompass the classics and the deep cuts. From the Eagles’ studio collection to a variety of presentation options that includes complete album sets, to solo material from Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and the late Glenn Frey, as well as the acoustic sets, featuring Eagles' classics, many performed as they were originally written. A.T.S. does this with an unparalleled commitment to the music. Another Tequila Sunrise has gone beyond the realm of understanding “how” the music was made. Their ability to recreate iconic studio sounds does not go unnoticed; but what really sets them apart is their ability to recreate the Eagles’ LIVE CONCERT experience. To do that, musicians must understand not only “how” the music was made, but also “why”. Why does Henley alter his drumming pattern ever-so-slightly? Why does Felder choose this particular lick or passage over another? Uncovering these notions is crucial to peeling back the layers of the Eagles' timeless songs and the key to improvising like an Eagle, with the secret to delivering a painstakingly authentic Eagles LIVE experience…..and this all-star lineup has it in spades.
