Meet the Cheeses: Unconventional Cheese Pairings

January can feel long and quiet, so this class is our excuse to get out of the house and have some fun. This evening is all about&nbsp;pairings: how to figure out what works together, why certain combinations shine, and why others… really, really don’t. Instead of sticking to the classics, we’re going&nbsp;unique, unconventional, unexpected, and creative. We’ll taste some of our favorite cheeses alongside surprising snacks to prove that great cheese doesn’t just belong with jam—it can pair beautifully (and deliciously) with so much more.

Fondue & Brew at Lord Hobo

Join Nouvelle Maison and Lord Hobo Brewing Co. for a cozy, indulgent evening of traditional cheese fondue paired with a flight of Lord Hobo beers. Guests will enjoy Nouvelle Maison’s signature cheese fondue, served generously alongside classic accompaniments: jambon de Paris, potatoes, cornichons, and all the essentials that make fondue such a beloved winter ritual. We'll pair Lord Hobo beers that complement the richness and depth of the cheese. The evening also includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the Lord Hobo brewery, offering a closer look at how their beers are made and what makes them such a perfect match for melted cheese. Come hungry, dress cozy, and settle in for a relaxed, social night celebrating great cheese, great beer, and good company.

Join us for a&nbsp;Nouvelle Maison's signature Galentine's celebration, a festive evening of female-led cheese and wine, community, and connection. This year,&nbsp;we're partnering with Wright-Locke farm, a local institution whose commitment to sustainability, education and community mirrors our own values. Liz, our Cheese &amp; Catering Manager, will present to you a selection of cheeses and wines, all led by women producers... along with special moments highlighting local female business leaders. Come with your best friends, your sister, your co-founder, or your favorite colleagues. If you love great food, good wine, and supporting quality women-owned businesses, this evening is for you... all wrapped in the signature Nouvelle Maison flair you know and love!
