The Nightflies return for a third Sanctuary&nbsp;Cultural Arts Center&nbsp;appearance, with more selections from Gaucho, The Royal Scam, Katy Lied, The Nightfly, and more. Doors open at 7:00PM. This is an All-Ages show. Tickets are $20+ with "choose-your-own" reserved table seating or standing room. There will be a large dance floor and a full bar. Attendees are invited BYO snacks/food (no outside drinks). The Nightflies have a history of selling out venues, so advance ticketing is recommended. They perform an ambitious medley of those recognizable, danceable, foot tapping, 70’s-80’s radio hits, plus a few Becker/Fagen’s deep cuts. What sets them apart are three female lead singers with tight vocal harmonies backed by seasoned musicians. The Nightflies began as an informal get-together of 10 musicians, for the love and challenge of playing the intricate arrangements of Steely Dan's Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. The band's name is a tip-of-the-hat to the 1982 standard-bearer Donald Fagen's solo album, The Nightfly. Their Distillery show last year was such a fun classic rock party, we just had to have them back. The Nightflies will be returning to our Dorchester music refuge with their ambitious medley of recognizable, danceable, foot- tapping, 70's-80's radio hits, plus some Becker/Fagen's deep cuts. They add their own special sauce to the songs you know and love from the 60s to the present, including tunes by The Beatles, Bonnie Raitt, Al Green, Tom Petty, Traffic, Stevie Wonder, Queen, Grace Potter, Ben Harper, and many more. It refers in part to a stereotypical yacht owner enjoying smooth music while sailing.
