29th Annual Lesbians & Friends LGBTQIA+ Dance: Halloween Bash For Breast Cancer Prevention

Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) invites you to an unforgettable evening at the 29th Annual Lesbians &amp; Friends LGBTQIA+ Dance: Halloween Bash for Breast Cancer Prevention. This beloved celebration will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Club Café, Boston’s premier LGBTQIA+ venue. The evening will kick off with a VIP Party from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, offering an intimate and festive setting featuring a beginner merengue dance lesson led by Liz Nania, founder and director of OUT to Dance, along with complimentary hors d’oeuvres. DJ Christina of San Francisco will provide music throughout the evening. The main celebration follows from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM and will feature an energetic dance floor and a costume contest with prizes. During the VIP Party, MBCC will honor Rev. Irene Monroe, an African-American lesbian feminist public theologian, preacher, and columnist whose work centers on the intersection of religion, social justice, and LGBTQIA+ rights. Through her writing and public advocacy, she has helped shape national and international dialogue on faith, equality, and human rights. Rev. Monroe is also a longtime volunteer and supporter of the Dance. Ticket Information: • VIP Party, 6PM-8PM: $40 pre-registration / $45 at the door (includes GA entry) • General Admission, 8PM-11PM: $20 All attendees must be 21 or older. Celebrate community and support a vital cause at the 28th Annual Lesbians &amp; Friends LGBTQIA+ Dance – Halloween Bash for a Cause! Enjoy a high-energy night at Club Café with music by guest DJ Christina from San Francisco, a dance lesson by Liz Nania of OUT to Dance, and a costume contest hosted by local drag performers, with a grand prize awarded to the winner. During the VIP Party, MBCC will honor E. Denise Simmons, Cambridge’s longtime mayor and the first Black openly lesbian mayor in the U.S., for her leadership and dedication to community and inclusivity. Tickets are $20 for general admission (8:00-11:00pm). VIP Party Access is $40 in advance and $45 at the door, which includes early access from 6:00-8:00pm along with general admission, and special perks like hors d'oeuvres and an exclusive dance lesson. To attend, you must be 21 or older. Funds raised by the event support MBCC’s mission to prevent breast cancer through community education, research advocacy, and changes to public policy.
