Lisa is the Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer of Onyva Franchising, LLC. She has held this position since our company’s founding in 2022. From its inception in 2021, she has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Mulman Dog Wash, LLC dba Onyva, the business upon which Onyva Franchising is based. Prior to founding Onyva, Lisa was a tenured member of the Literature Department at Salem State University from 2003-2021, as well as a co-founder of the Salem State Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, which was formally established in 2015. She also served as the Director of the Graduate Program in English from 2005-2013. Lisa is also the proud pet parent of Satchel, a 110-pound St. Bernadoodle who is a dirt magnet and the inspiration for the entire Onyva enterprise. She holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University and a Ph.D. from Duke University.
