Late Practice Art Show

An art party series by Adrienne Christos dedicated to collaboration across mediums. Late Practice brings artists and audiences together in a shared space where performance, painting, and atmosphere collide. Come ready to experience the work and to party. Featuring The Dying Swan, performed by Emily Entingh Join us on Wednesday, May 13, from 7–9 PM at a private studio at 450 Harrison Avenue, Studio 402, Boston. At the center of the evening is a live performance of The Dying Swan, interpreted by dancer Emily Entingh. In dialogue with the performance, Adrienne Christos’ work unfolds through gesture—built from sweeping physical movements of paint alongside moments of quiet, intricate detail. Like a dancer, her process is embodied and improvisational, guided by rhythm and presence. In turn, the performance becomes a kind of painting in time, with movement accumulating like brushstrokes that are fleeting yet deliberate. Together, the works blur the boundary between disciplines, suggesting that painting can be a dance and that a dance can be a painting. Guests are invited to move through the space before and after the 8 PM performance. Expect music, conversation, and a lively atmosphere throughout the night.
