This Mother’s Day, treat Mom to a special dining experience at 34 Park, featuring a festive dinner service designed for family celebrations. 34 Park will offer a three-course prix-fixe Mother’s Day dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. for $64 per person. The dinner menu features Italian-American classics, including handmade pastas, fresh seafood, steaks, flatbreads, signature entrées, shareable appetizers, and salads. Seatings will be offered every hour, and the regular menu will not be available during dinner service. The experience offers an elevated, family-friendly setting for a special Mother’s Day celebration.

This April vacation, kids can become pizza chefs at Sal’s Pizza Camp! Participants will begin by receiving their own take-home Sal’s apron and chef hat, then decorate their hats and pizza boxes before heading into the kitchen in small groups to learn how to make their own pizza. While the pizzas are baking, participants will enjoy a fun pizza-themed storytime. Once ready, everyone will sit down together to enjoy their creations, take photos, and hangout with Sal’s new mascot, Roni, before graduating from Pizza Camp and receiving their certificates. $24.99 per child. Planet Fitness and Beasley Media Group Host Boston Marathon Cheer Zone in Natick

Planet Fitness, one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers, is partnering with Beasley Media Group to host a Boston Marathon Cheer Zone in Natick. The event is open to both members and non-members and will feature a festive atmosphere to support marathon runners as they pass through town. Attendees can enjoy live music, giveaways, food, and more throughout the morning. Planned activations include free Planet Fitness swag such as T-shirts, water bottles, koozies, and drawstring bags. Food will be provided by nearby Cinco Chiles Taqueria, and Beasley Media Group will be on-site with additional beverage giveaways and music. The event will take place in the Planet Fitness Natick parking lot. Gym floor access will be closed during the event; however, restroom access will be available inside the club.

Quincy’s Soft Rock Concert – Roads and Rivers 

Soft Rock Music of Gordon Lightfoot, Cat Stevens, Harry Chapin, Creedence Clearwater and more. 1:00-1:30 PM: The Harvard Krokodiloes A cappella Singers affiliated with Hasty Pudding Club Music from the Great American Songbook and the Soft Rock Era 2:15-3:30 PM: Story Songs of the 70s Music of Gordon Lightfoot, Cat Stevens and Harry Chapin 4:15-5:45 PM: Sweet Hitch-Hiker Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute About the Event: The concert will take place inside the Church of the Presidents, with the music also piped outside onto the Hancock-Adams Common for those who wish to gather outdoors. The church will have an open-door policy, so you may come and go throughout the day. Seats cannot be saved so everyone has a chance to enjoy the performances. There will be a 45-minute changeover between the three shows. We recommend arriving toward the end of the show before the one you plan to attend. No food or drinks are allowed inside the church. A tent with tables and chairs will be set up outside so guests can enjoy food from the food trucks and beverage options, and it will also provide shelter in case of rain. City of Quincy’s “Remember the Ladies” Event

In honor of Women’s History Month, Mayor Thomas P. Koch and Mrs. Christine Koch invite the community to celebrate the legacy of First Lady Abigail Adams and highlight the accomplishments of our Quincy Public School nurses at the City of Quincy’s annual Remember the Ladies award ceremony and reception.&nbsp; This year’s “Remember the Ladies” event takes on special meaning as the City of Quincy honors the extraordinary group of women who serve our community every day—the nurses of Quincy Public Schools. In the spirit of Abigail Adams’ enduring call to “remember the ladies,” the City recognizes the essential role school nurses play in the health, safety, and well-being of Quincy’s students and families. The presentation will be held on Saturday, March 28th at the Quincy High School Auditorium, 100 Coddington Street, from noon – 2:00 p.m. Refreshments and desserts will be served after the event. Over the years, the field of nursing has evolved significantly, and today’s school nurses play a vital role far beyond basic first aid. Quincy’s school nurses are highly trained healthcare professionals who support students with chronic medical needs, manage individualized health plans, respond to emergencies, promote wellness, and serve as a trusted resource for families and educators. Their presence ensures students are healthy, supported, and ready to learn—making them a critical part of every school community. Also at the event, the City of Quincy will honor the extraordinary life and legacy of Grace Eng Toy. A prominent Chinese American nurse from Quincy, Toy served as an Army nurse during World War II. After the war, she continued her legacy of service as the first Asian American hired as a nurse in the Quincy Public Schools system. A trailblazer in both military and public health service, she broke barriers and paved the way for future generations in Quincy and beyond. Toy passed away in 1998. Then the real fun begins: each child will make two personal pizzas – one to eat at the restaurant and one to take home. While the pizzas bake, kids can decorate their own pizza boxes. Join us at 34 Park for a special Valentine’s Day dining experience. For $75 per person, we’ve prepared a four-course prix fixe menu that showcases elevated, flavor-forward dishes designed to enhance the special evening. The prix fixe menu will be available Friday, February 13 through Sunday, February 15. On Friday and Sunday, it will be offered alongside our regular menu, but on Saturday, February 14, it will be the only menu available.
