Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812

From the celebrated composer Dave Malloy comes&nbsp;Natasha, Pierre &amp; The Great Comet of 1812, an electropop opera based on a scandalous slice of Leo Tolstoy’s&nbsp;War and Peace.&nbsp;Young and impulsive Natasha Rostova arrives in Moscow to await the return of her fiancé from the front lines. When she falls under the spell of the roguish Anatole, it is up to Pierre, a family friend in the middle of an existential crisis, to pick up the pieces of her shattered reputation. Following a critically exalted premiere at Ars Nova in New York City, a subsequent off-Broadway transfer, and an acclaimed run on Broadway, this award-winning musical expands the possibilities for the genre with its daring score and bold storytelling. This performance has been selected as part of Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s spring 2025 Center Stage collection.&nbsp;

Mambo Mania: Eguie Castrillo and His Big Band All Stars featuring Edmar Colón

Professor Eguie Castrillo presents Mambo Mania, his long-awaited show at the Berklee Performance Center, with a big band made up of the most outstanding students and professors at Berklee College of Music, and featuring saxophonist Edmar Colón. Castrillo will be taking us back in time to the era of mambo in New York City, with very dynamic and aggressive arrangements that highlight the unique talents of students and faculty. As a guest artist, the famous saxophonist Edmar Colón will be premiering his original piece dedicated to Puerto Rico. This piece will feature rhythms and drums native to Puerto Rico as well as a very demanding arrangement for the musicians.

39th Annual Berklee International Folk Festival

Berklee's 39th International Folk Festival, directed by Christiane Karam and Vessela Stoyanova, celebrates the college's diverse community with a performance showcasing traditional music from cultures around the world, featuring both Berklee students and special guest artists.

Dance on Film Festival 2025

Boston Conservatory at Berklee presents its fourth annual Dance on Film Festival, showcasing student films created throughout the academic year. This year’s collection of short, student-created works represents the continued exploration of how dance translates to film. The Dance on Film festival began in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when Boston Conservatory’s dance classes transitioned from in person to online. During this period, students were able to explore a new side of their creativity: telling stories on film, through the art of dance. Through directed curriculum, we continue to work on film literacy and an increased understanding of the process.

The Unity Cabaret is a dynamic, cabaret-style performance that uplifts and celebrates underrepresented voices within Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Theater Division. From the contemporary rhythms of Lin-Manuel Miranda to bold reimaginings of Sondheim classics, the show features a vibrant blend of music, dance, and spoken word, bringing to life stories often left unheard.

Artistry in Action: Faculty Wind Quintet Event Dates

Boston Conservatory faculty members Sarah Brady, Robert Sheena, Jan Halloran, Margaret Phillips, and Anne Howarth present a Faculty Wind Quintet recital. Repertoire will include the world premiere of a Boston Conservatory commission by Dan VanHassel, Gabriela Frank’s “MITOS,” Paquito D’Rivera’s “Aires Tropicales,” and a collaboration with Boston Conservatory students, featuring movements of Joachim Raff’s Sinfonietta.
