Founded on March 8, 1886, by a dedicated group of twelve Malden residents, the Malden Historical Society has been an active part of our community for well over a century. Officially incorporated as a nonprofit organization on February 7, 1886, the Society remains committed to preserving and sharing the rich and diverse history of Malden. Through its work, the Society celebrates the many cultures, communities, and stories that have shaped the city across generations.
