New Year’s Eve Celebrations at Davio’s Seaport

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in the Seaport. Indulge in a four-course meal in the main dining room starting at 4 p.m. before taking in the views of the fireworks show over the Boston Harbor. The special menu includes Powder Point Oysters, Maine Lobster Bisque, Filet Mignon and more. The full dinner menu is available <a href="https://davios.com/seaport/events/new-years-eve">online</a>. (Note: The Traditional A La Carte menu is not available). Tickets are $150 per person. <a href="https://davios.com/seaport/events/new-years-eve-davios-seaport">Reservations</a> should be made in advance. Keep the party going and ring in 2024 enjoying a picture-perfect view of the fireworks show over the Boston Harbor at midnight, all while staying warm with the drinks flowing and delicious food. The New Year’s Eve Celebration in the Seaport kicks off at 9 p.m. Start off the night with a champagne toast before indulging in passed appetizers, a raw bar, food stations and passed desserts. There will be a DJ, a dance floor and a cash bar. <a href="https://davios.com/seaport/events/new-years-eve-celebration">Tickets</a> for the celebration party are $250 per person. Louis D. Brown Peace Institute 30th Celebration

Join the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute for a fundraising event in Boston on December 20th! The Louis D. Brown Peace Institute is celebrating 30 years of transforming society’s response to homicide, serving as a center of healing, teaching, and learning for families and communities affected by murder, trauma, grief, and loss. A fundraising celebration will be held on Friday, December 20th, from 6-10 pm at Venezia Restaurant in Dorchester, beautifully situated along the Neponset River with stunning views of the Boston skyline. This date marks 31 years since Louis was murdered—a tragic loss that inspired the Institute’s founding. Cocktail attire is encouraged. Boston City Councilor Brian Worrell will be honored with the inaugural Louis D. Brown Visionary Leadership Award for his dedication to peace and meaningful support for families impacted by violence.&nbsp; Emmy-winning NBC anchor Latoyia Edwards will emcee the event, which will feature stories of hope and resilience from the survivor community.&nbsp; Tickets are $300/person. Those who cannot afford the full ticket price have the option to pay-what-you-can, starting at $30. Ticket purchases include dinner, reception, and live music from DJ Junbug. For three decades, the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute has fostered connections among families, educators, law enforcement, and advocates, cultivating cycles of peace. Those with a sweet tooth can get creative and gather the family to attend a Cookie Decorating Workshop on Sunday, December 15th at the Lynnfield and Braintree locations. On Sunday, December 15th, Davio’s Back Bay is hosting a Gingerbread House Workshop from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. <a href="https://davios.com/bos/events/childrens-gingerbread-house-workshop">Tickets</a> for the guided workshop are $65 per child and include a gingerbread house kit and lunch. Holiday Teddy Bear Brunch at Davio’s Seaport

Celebrate the holiday season and enjoy a special 2-course brunch with drink features while local celebrity guests read from their favorite children’s books. Perfect for kids of all ages! Join Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse on December 8th and 15th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. All kids will receive a Davio’s Teddy Bear to bring home. &nbsp; The kids’ menu comes with a choice of scrambled eggs, pancakes, pizza and more. Adult menu options include eggs benedict, potato gnocchi, 55 day prime aged flat iron steak, and more. Guests will enjoy items such as Oven-Roasted Vermont Free-Range Organic Turkey, Yukon Gold Creamy Potatoes, Butternut Squash, Challah Bread Herb Stuffing and more. We all know Thanksgiving isn’t complete without an All-American dessert. This year’s options include homemade Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Pecan Pie.   Children’s meals include Oven Roasted Turkey, Stuffing, Creamy Potatoes and Gravy. Those looking for leftovers can take a turkey sandwich to go. The Tomorrow’s Turkey Sandwich comes with Oven Roasted Turkey, Stuffing, Cranberry Chutney and Gravy on a Brioche bun. Friendsgiving Vino Flora Workshop

Gather your friends and celebrate Friendsgiving at Davio’s Northen Italian Steakhouse in Lynnfield. Build a flower arrangement at a Friendsgiving Vino Flora Workshop while enjoying a variety of passed appetizers and Davio’s fine wines. The Vino Flora Workshop in Lynnfield is set for Monday, November 25th&nbsp;at 5:00 p.m. Guests can create their own beautiful floral arrangement using a Davio’s wine bottle and freshly cut flowers presented by floral artist Asusena Texada. The same event will also be held at the Braintree location on&nbsp;Saturday, November 23rd&nbsp;at 1:00 p.m. The hands-on workshop is $105 per person. All necessary supplies such as tools, flowers and an empty bottle of wine reused to be a vase are included in the ticket pricing. NEW Health Charlestown Hosts FREE Community Outdoor Pilates Fusion Class with Local Instructor

North End Waterfront Health (NEW Health) is sponsoring a free outdoor Pilates Fusion class led by local instructor, Jennifer Phelan. The outdoor Pilates Fusion session will be held on Sunday, September 29 from 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m., outside the Bunker Hill Monument. This high-energy, complimentary class will be a mix of Pilates, barre and core sculpting as attendees clear their minds, move their bodies and enjoy the fresh air with Jennifer, an award-winning Pilates instructor. Jennifer has more than 15 years of experience and owns JPPilates in Charlestown, which offers in-studio, outdoor and video classes. Spots for the Pilates class should be reserved online in advance. After class, all participants are invited to learn about the new pharmacy that opened at the NEW Health Charlestown location earlier this year and pharmacy gift bags will also be provided. Pharmacy services are available for everyone in the community, in addition to NEW Health patients, including those who speak all languages. This is only one of two pharmacies for the entire neighborhood, so it fulfilled a critical need. The Charlestown site is located at 15 Tufts Street, which is just a short walk from Bunker Hill Monument.
