Register for PMC Winter Cycle to Raise Funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute 

About PMC Winter Cycle: On Saturday, February 1, 2025, the <a href="https://bit.ly/3VQYMKt">Pan-Mass Challenge</a> (PMC), will host the 10th <a href="https://bit.ly/3BrwrCY">PMC Winter Cycle</a>, a charitable spin event held each winter at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. The day-long event inside the 521 Overlook will bring together hundreds of people of varying athletic ability, who channel physical, mental and emotional energy to fight cancer by raising money for <a href="https://www.dana-farber.org/">Dana-Farber Cancer Institute</a> (Dana-Farber). The PMC Winter Cycle will kick-off the PMC’s 2025 yearly fundraising campaign with five 45-minute high-energy indoor cycling rides led by popular local spin instructors. As with all PMC events, 100 percent of PMC Winter Cycle rider-raised dollars directly benefit lifesaving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber. As of July 2024, the PMC crossed $1 billion in lifetime fundraising for Dana-Farber and continues to ride Closer By The Mile toward a world without cancer. How to Get Involved: For those interested in spinning, registration opens for top fundraisers or Pacesetters on October 16, 2024, for PMC alumni on October 17, 2024, and for all riders and volunteers on October 22, 2024. There is a non-refundable $50 registration fee and a $400 fundraising minimum per session. To become a Pacesetter, participants must raise at least $1,200. All fundraising minimums must be met by April 1, 2025. On Saturday, February 4, the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) will host the <a href="https://wintercycle.pmc.org/">PMC Winter Cycle</a>, where hundreds will hop on spin bikes at Fenway Park to raise lifesaving funding for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Participants will ride inside The 521 Overlook, a brand new 7,000 square-foot venue located in centerfield that offers iconic views of the historic ballpark. This year, riders will also have the opportunity to spin alongside special celebrity guest <a href="https://profile.wintercycle.org/LL0184?__hstc=108875037.878a1d4cb4251fbc6dc3584a8425ed63.1674050727668.1674050727668.1674050727668.1&amp;__hssc=108875037.1.1674050727668&amp;__hsfp=3483462447">Lisa Leslie</a> – 2X WNBA Champion, 8X WNBA All Star, 4X Olympic gold medalist and Hall of Famer – who will be participating in the 8 a.m. session, as well as appearing at the event’s after party.     Each year, the PMC Winter Cycle brings together hundreds of people of varying athletic ability, who channel physical, mental and emotional energy to fight cancer. In 2022, the PMC Winter Cycle contributed to the organization’s record-breaking $69 million gift to Dana-Farber, 100 percent of which supported cancer research and treatment at the Institute. This year’s PMC Winter Cycle has a fundraising goal of $750,000, which will kickstart the organization’s 2023 fundraising efforts.    For the second year in a row, PMC Pedal Partners – pediatric patients at Dana-Farber’s Jimmy Fund Clinic – will inspire the PMC Winter Cycle riders participating. In addition to these Pedal Partners, PMC riders, sponsors, and volunteers will act as motivational speakers before each session, sharing why they ride, fundraise, and support the PMC in its mission to fund lifesaving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber.
