Featuring an unforgettable evening that brings the spirit of Greece to the heart of Boston, guests will be invited to blend cultural appreciation with company and meaningful conversation. A portion of ticket sales from this event will benefit the 29th Annual Greek Independence Day Parade of Boston on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, which is hosted by the Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of New England. The Wellington recently launched its Jazz Brunch series, which features a new group of notable musicians every Sunday from 12-2pm. The Jazz Brunch Series is offered alongside The Wellington’s Brunch every Sunday from 11:30am-2:30pm. Alpha Omega Council Presents 2024 Greek Heritage Night with Boston Red Sox

The 2024 <a href="https://www.alphaomegacouncil.org/greek-heritage-night-2-2/">Greek Heritage Night with the Boston Red Sox</a> is taking place at Fenway Park on June 4, 2024 at 7:10pm. Now in its 7th year, Greek Heritage Night is a fundraiser to benefit charities supported by <a href="http://www.alphaomegacouncil.org/">Alpha Omega Council</a>, which will pay tribute to the memory of the great Harry Agganis, nicknamed “The Golden Greek”, and honor the <a href="http://www.metropolisofbostoncamp.org">Metropolis of Boston Camp (MBC)</a> and its <a href="https://www.saintmethodios.org/?page_id=669">Camp Gym &amp; Field House Project</a> at <a href="https://www.saintmethodios.org/">Saint Methodios Faith and Heritage Center</a>, which will be the beneficiary of the evening. Greek Heritage Night with the Boston Red Sox will transform Fenway Park into an evening packed with Hellenism. Highlights will include: <ul><li>Heritage Pregame Ceremony on Jersey Street with members of the local Greek Community as well as Greek dance groups, such as Metropolis of Boston Dance Group, the Boston Lykeion Ellinidon, the Sons &amp; Daughters of Alexander the Great, and Annunciation Church of Brockton Dance Group, who will perform traditional Greek dances.</li><li>Singing of the National Anthem by Greek American, Grammy-award winning musician, and Harvard University &amp; Berklee College of Music undergraduate student Dessa Kavrakis.</li><li>Throwing of the first pitch by someone in the Greek community. Starting at $2,500, bids for throwing out the first pitch are now open until May 28th.</li><li>Recognition of Cretan-native and HELPIS founder &amp; president Joyce Deliyiannis during the Hats Off to Heroes home game program.</li><li>A series of well-deserving honorees who will be honored during the on-field ceremony including The Order of AHEPA Lynn, MA Aristides Chapter #50, the Greek National Baseball team, and the Consul General of Greece in Boston.</li></ul>Tickets are now available for purchase, which include an authentic 2024 Greek Heritage Boston Red Sox collab jersey to be picked up at Fenway with proof of purchase. The 28th Annual Greek Independence Day Parade of Boston

The 28th Annual Greek Independence Day Parade of Boston will return on Sunday, April 7th at 1:00pm starting at Boylston &amp; Exeter Streets and concluding at Boylston &amp; Charles Streets. Immediately following the parade, the Boston Common will transform into “Plaka,” Athens’ central square, with a Greek cultural celebration packed with Hellenic heritage. The New England Evzones and local Greek dance troupes will perform dances from all over Greece, as attendees are encouraged to try their hand at Greek dancing and indulge in authentic Greek food which will be provided by Greek street trucks and vendors. In commemoration of Greece’s independence from Ottoman Rule, which began on March 25, 1821, this year’s parade is presented by the <a href="https://fhasne.com/">Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of New England (FHASNE)</a>, supported by the <a href="https://www.boston.gov/departments/tourism-sports-and-entertainment">Mayor's Office of Special Events and Tourism</a>, and in cooperation with <a href="http://www.metropolisofbostoncamp.org/">The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston (MBC)</a> and <a href="http://www.mfa.gr/usa/en/consulate-general-in-boston">The Consulate General of Greece in Boston</a>.

Hellenic Boston Businesses Unite and The Greek Wine Club are teaming up to host a Wine Tasting &amp; Networking event on Thursday, March 14 from 6-8pm at Compass Realty (126 Newbury Street, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA).
