This year features a reimagined Southwest-inspired menu with bold bites like Lobster Gazpacho, Poblano Shrimp Flatbread, and Carne Asada Steak Tip Bowls—plus sweet Cinnamon Sugar Churros perfect for sharing. Enjoy a selection of local brews from our partner, <a href="https://jacksabby.com/">Jack's Abby Craft Lagers</a>, alongside hand-crafted cocktails, alcohol-free options, frozen drinks, and summery shareable towers—all ideal for warm nights under the stars. &nbsp; Phrenology returns every Wednesday at 8:00 PM starting July 9, 2025, with trivia challenges and prizes for the top team. Sunset Sounds live music also returns for a six week run on Thursdays from July 10 through August 14, 2024 (no cover required). (21+ after 8:00PM)

OTC Sunset Sounds

Every Thursday night from July 11 through August 15, 2024 local musician and vocalist – Steve Spector – will perform on the rooftop from 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm with no cover required. Rocking since 1983, Steve will help usher in the sunset with classic covers and sleek original songs that’s sure to set a chill tone up on the rooftop. July 4th Celebration - Over the Charles Rooftop Bar 

The July 4th celebration overlooking the scenic Charles River is back at Over the Charles Rooftop Bar for 2024! This red, white and brew celebration will include a <a href="https://qrco.de/bd6uWB">full buffet</a> featuring 48-Hour Brined Chicken, Beef Brisket Sandwiches, Lobster and Sweet Corn “Chowdah,” assorted ice cream treats, a superior cash bar featuring <a href="https://jacksabby.com/">Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers</a> and unobstructed views of the fireworks display. Doors open from 6:00pm to 11:00pm (weather permitting), and guests can visit <a href="https://www.opentable.com/r/over-the-charles-boston">OpenTable</a> or call (617) 222-0788 to reserve a general admission ticket or make sure you get some of the best city skyline views with our VIP Rail Seats. Each ticket includes access to the buffet and complimentary parking in the on-site garage. (Reservations are fully-refundable until June 30, 2024.) Looking for that upgraded experience? Private suites are available where up to six (6) people can enjoy their own private balcony, bottle of champagne upon arrival, in-suite butler service, a private bathroom, TV for watching the Boston Pops concert, complimentary parking and overnight guest suite for two (2) people included for one price. Chill Over the Charles Rooftop Igloo Bar is Back for the 2023/2024 Season! Set on the 16th floor, enjoy a laid-back atmosphere while taking in stunning views of the scenic Charles River and Boston city skyline at this outdoor rooftop igloo bar in Boston. Grab your friends and enjoy a fun night under the stars in a heated igloo, ideal for up to 8 guests, with your choice of a la carte or our new family-style dining options. Locally crafted brews from Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers, including their seasonal Baltic Porters, as well as a selection of wines, and cocktails are also available. (21+ after 8:00PM. The Anti-Valentine’s Day menu is back at Chill Over the Charles for another season.   Grab your single friends and leave the Hallmark folly behind with a special one-night only pre-fixe menu to treat yourself, including a Double Chops New Zealand Lamb Rack and Jumbo Shirmp surf and turf special paired with Baked Mac &amp; Cheese that’s sure to fill the hole left in any broken heart. Enhance your night with a selection of fun Un-Romantic cocktails – from Love on the Rocks to Bleeding Hearts – or try some of our favorite local <a href="https://jacksabby.com/">Jack’s Abby Craft Lager</a> brews, including their Framinghammer Baltic Porters series.   Available 5:30pm to 10:00pm (weather permitting), guests can visit <a href="https://www.opentable.com/r/over-the-charles-boston">OpenTable</a> to reserve a heated igloo for two hours for a group of up to 8 people. Guests can also set their own anti-Valentine’s Day playlist during their time in the igloo to help set the mood.

Make Your Valentine’s Day a Night to Remember with a Performance by Shawn Monteiro Ms. Monteiro has delighted audiences from the USA to Europe with her highly popular jazz repertoire laced with blues-oriented improvisations and the American Songbook. The true quality of Shawn's voice is best experienced in the ultimate setting of the club dates where her warm charisma can be personally felt by those fortunate enough to spend an evening with her.   A special pre-fixe dinner menu will also be available before the show in Boathouse 400. There is a pre-fixe option for guest to choose their own entrées as well as a pre-fixe dinner option ideal for couples to share.
