From interactive musical activities to chamber music performances to student-led instrument demonstrations, there is something for the littlest child to seasoned music lovers and everyone in between. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS  2:00-5:00. Musical Craft Project 2:00-5:00. Opera Costume Corner 2:00-3:00. Percussion Playground 2:15-3:30. Student Chamber Music Performances 2:30-4:30. BYSO on Parade

On Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 1:30pm, Symphony Hall will be transformed into an explosion of children, music, families and fun! BYSO will present BYSO On Parade, featuring more than 500 young musicians. Audience members will be introduced to the instruments of the orchestra and what it means to be a performing musician. The concert will culminate with a performance of Britten's A Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra from BYSO's most advanced orchestra, Boston Youth Symphony, conducted by BYSO Music Director Federico Cortese.

Bring your whole family for a day of&nbsp;discovery&nbsp;at the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras (BYSO) Youth Center for Music! Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of instrument demonstrations, student ambassador led tours of the building, interactive music-making, chamber music performances, a Dalcroze Eurythmics (music through movement) workshop, an information session about joining our Intensive Community Program, and much more. Additionally, learn about upcoming concerts, BYSO auditions, workshops, and summer programs.
