Skating's Elite Summer Sizzler

U.S. Figure Skating, the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States, and The Skating Club of Boston, New England’s premier figure skating club and training center, will be hosting a unique, summer skating show featuring top skaters in the U.S as they head into the 2025-2026 Olympic season. These Team USA athletes, including four World Champions, will be previewing a mix of their new programs.   The event will take place on Thursday, August 14th at 7 p.m. at the Tenley E. Albright Performance Center at The Skating Club of Boston in Norwood, Massachusetts. Tickets are on sale now and range from $50-$125.   Featured skaters include two-time World champion Ilia Malinin, 2025 World champion Alysa Liu, three-time World Champions Madison Chock and Evan Bates (ice dance), two-time U.S. champion Amber Glenn and Olympian Jason Brown. Tickets will be $35 for general admission seating.   Featured skaters include 2024 World champions Ilia Malinin (men) and Madison Chock and Evan Bates (ice dance); 2024 World silver medalist Isabeau Levito (women), 2024 U.S. champions Amber Glenn (women) and Ellie Kam and Danny O’Shea (pairs) and 2024 U.S. silver medalist Jason Brown (men). Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov, who won the 2024 U.S. silver medal in pairs and 2024 pewter medalist Max Naumov, who train at The Skating Club of Boston, will also star in the event.   These skaters will be in the Boston area for U.S. Figure Skating’s “Champs Camp,” the annual training camp for elite Team USA athletes. Be Here! Be YOU! Skating & Dance Party

In honor of Pride Month, Joy Skate Productions, a company that promotes health &amp; happiness through the joy of ice skating, will host their fourth annual Be Here! Be YOU! event to benefit the LGBTQ+ community. This year’s beneficiary is the Jeff Perrotti LGBTQ Scholarship Fund, a fund set up through the <a href="https://www.mass.gov/orgs/massachusetts-commission-on-lgbtq-youth" target="_blank">Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth</a>. The event will be held on Saturday, June 15th from 6:00-8:30 pm at The Skating Club of Boston in Norwood, MA. Tickets for the event are $20 for general admission and $10 for students and will include skate rentals, open skate session, DJ entertainment, parking, and hot chocolate. The Skating Club of Boston will offer additional amenities including a cash bar, café and gender-neutral restrooms. The event will include performances by <a href="https://www.instagram.com/qwamfam/" target="_blank">QWAM</a>, a dance troupe that wants to express and experience dance in all aspects; <a href="https://www.instagram.com/mizery21/?hl=en" target="_blank">Mizery McRae</a>, Boston’s premiere gender illusionists; <a href="https://www.instagram.com/bigandmilky/reels/?hl=en" target="_blank">Milk</a>, an American drag performer and fashion model who was on the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race; and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/dj_brianh/?hl=en" target="_blank">DJ Brian Halligan</a> who has performed throughout Boston including at Legacy, Machine and Club Café. Dick Button Artistic Figure Skating Festival Evening Showcase 

The Skating Club of Boston, New England’s premier figure-skating club and training center, will host the Dick Button Artistic Figure Skating Festival Evening Showcase on Saturday, October 14 from 7:00-9:00 pm. The event will cap off a two-day celebration, including workshops and seminars, dedicated to the legendary Olympic Champion, Dick Button, and his legacy of innovation and passion for the creativity of artistic skating. The evening showcase will feature the unique works of highly acclaimed artistic skating companies including, <a href="https://americanicetheatre.org/">American Ice Theatre</a>, <a href="https://icedanceinternational.org/">Ice Dance International</a>, <a href="https://www.icetheatre.org/">Ice Theatre of New York</a>, <a href="https://joyskateproductions.com/">Joy Skate Productions</a>, and <a href="https://www.thenexticeage.org/">The Next Ice Age</a>. The evening will also feature special performances by guest skaters, including four-time U.S. Champion and two-time Olympian, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Abbott">Jeremy Abbott</a>, and the <a href="https://haydensynchro.com/teams/lexettes">Lexettes</a>, the World Junior competitors of the renowned synchronized skating team representing the Hayden Synchronized Skating organization and the United States in international competition. Three local-area skaters representing The Skating Club of Boston will also perform artistic-oriented programs. The Festival’s Evening Showcase is open to the public and tickets are $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for seniors, students, and children 12 and under. Bluey's Big Play The Stage Show coming to the Wang Theatre April 7 & 8

It’s time to see the much-loved Heeler family from the popular show Bluey in their very first live show in Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show which will have five performances at the Wang Theatre April 7-8.   Fans of all ages will get to see Bluey, Bingo, Bandit, and Chilli as they’ve never seen them before, as the Heelers embark on their very first live theater show in the U.S. featuring puppetry, live actors, and iconic sets. Local Skaters to Perform at New Year's Eve Frog Pond Skating Spectacular

Ring in the new year with family and friends, and join The Skating Club of Boston and the City of Boston for the Frog Pond Skating Spectacular on New Year’s Eve, Saturday, December 31st at 6:00 pm.   An annual tradition of First Night Boston, this FREE outdoor show offers the public a chance to see national and international competitive figure skaters, soloists, groups, Team Excel Synchronized Skating and Theater On Ice of Boston teams in the center of the historic and iconic Boston Common Frog Pond. The show will begin at 6:00 pm. Immediately following the show, fireworks will take place on the Boston Common at 7:00 pm.

Celebrate New Year's Eve at Blue Man Group Boston

Blue Man Group Boston will be celebrating the last day of 2022 with special performances and festive elements for all ages to ring in the new year, Blue Man-style.   The four shows on December 31st (11 am, 2 pm, 5 pm &amp; 8 pm) will feature party favors and a special musical performance by the Blue Men and the 8:00 pm show will also include a “countdown” by the Blue Men and band to ring in 2023.   Tickets for the New Year’s Eve shows can be found at <a href="http://www.blueman.com/">www.blueman.com</a>.
