Join us for a hilarious afternoon of showbiz mirth and farce as Boston's best actors perform a staged reading of Federico Muchnik's new comedy, HOT JAVA THE SINGING LLAMA. When Isaac Plovnick and Jake Miller, two B-film producers from Somerville are approached by wealthy Ira “Come on Down” Melnick about making a movie with fading diva Jacqui Winston, their hopes of adapting King Lear are put on hold while Jacqui develops new and unpredictable script ideas of her own. This comedy is sure to entertain, enlighten, and enrich your Saturday afternoon, and it's free and open to the public.
