Boston, MA: <a href="https://onstagedanceco.com/index.html">OnStage Dance Company</a>, is returning to the stage with its Season 27 Performance on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM at the Boston University Dance Theater in Boston, MA.  The Season 27 Performance features work in jazz, tap, contemporary, commercial, fusion, modern, and filmed pieces by OnStage company members ​Lexine Brooks, Emily Chang, Mykayla Cohen, Danielle Doody, Melissa deFriesse, Jennifer Kuhnberg, Sara Lodgen, Catherine Shortliffe, Austen Starr, Lizzy Thaman, Erica Thorp, Tyla Tognarelli, and Adi Wollny.

OnStage Dance Company&nbsp;is for experienced dancers and emerging choreographers who have a background, interest or appreciation in a variety of dance styles. ​Our performances feature a wide range of styles including Contemporary, Classical Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Tap, Modern, Musical Theater and Pop. We have also shared work in Hip Hop, Poi, Step, Hoop, Bollywood, and Latin styles. OnStage produces two performance seasons per year (Spring and Winter), rehearsing for 10-12 weeks leading to show day. ​ But our work is not limited to live, staged performance. We also offer dance film opportunities!

Every year, OnStage celebrates National Dance Day with classes taught by the Company’s dancers. The event aims to highlight the Company’s mission of providing a range of styles for all levels and opportunities for emerging choreographers and instructors. There will be seven classes running 35 minutes each featuring Contemporary with Mykayla Cohen, Pop with Allie Hahn, Classical Jazz with Annamae Aurilio, Tap Choreography with Austen Starr, Modern Jazz with Erica Thorp, Commercial with Nikki Sanborn, and Intro to Floorwork with Jessica Taddeo.

Boston, MA: <a href="https://onstagedanceco.com/index.html" target="_blank">OnStage Dance Company</a>, is returning to the stage with its Season 26 Performance on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM at the Boston University Dance Theater in Boston, MA.&nbsp; The Season 26 Performance features brand new work in jazz, tap, contemporary, commercial, and modern by company members ​Mykayla Cohen, Maddy Dugan, Emily Hong, Jennifer Kuhnberg, Hannah Perry, Victoria Rousseau, and Erica Thorp. The Company is excited to welcome guest artists Maya Jain of Pistachio Groove and Raffi Pontes.

OnStage Dance Company, is returning to the stage with its Season 25 Performance. TWO shows: Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 2:00 and 7:00 PM The Season 25 Performance features brand new work in jazz, tap, contemporary, pop, and modern by choreographers: ​Emily Chang, Mykayla Cohen, Melissa deFriesse, Teresa Dominick, Emily Hong, Kellie Johnson, Jennifer Kuhnberg, Chelsea Lepkowksi, Loghan Nace, Hannah Perry, Victoria Rousseau, Allie Somers, Lizzy Thaman and Erica Thorp. The dynamic showcase premieres mostly live works, along with two new short dance films. It is performed by over 45 dancers from the Greater Boston area.  Each show is approximately 80 minutes. Entrance to the theater is on Buick Street, next to the cafe.

OnStage 360° is a performance series of dance work performed in the round! Presenting work in this circular perspective allows for exciting experimentation by the choreographers and dancers - and a unique viewing experience for the audience. No two people will view a piece in the same way! Featuring work by 15 local dance companies and choreographers. Note: There are two show options: 5:00PM &amp; 7:30PM. OnStage Dance Company is accepting applications for experienced and emerging choreographers to create new work for our Season 23 Performance. ​Pieces can be performed live for the stage, or site-specific dance for film. <ul><li>​Live Performance: Selected dances will be performed at our Season 23 Performance at the Boston University Dance Theater. </li><li>Filmed Project: Selected dances, created for "site specific" locations and choreographed for film, will be filmed during the season and screened during our live performance.</li></ul> We are open to all dance styles. Our performances feature a wide range including Jazz, Modern, Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theater and Pop. Past seasons have also included work in Hip Hop, Poi, Step, Hoop, Bollywood, and Latin styles. If the style is outside of our audition rubric, casting will be determined by the director, in consultation with the choreographer.
