Landmarks’ fourth annual Juneteenth concert celebrates music of Scott Joplin, Florence Price, Jessie Montgomery, Michael Abels, Julia Perry, and P.I. Tchaikovsky. This year, we are thrilled to collaborate with talented young musicians from the <a href="https://www.sphinxmusic.org/sphinx-performance-academy">Sphinx Performance Academy</a> intensive summer program, which will be in residence at Boston Conservatory in June. Morningside Music Bridge and NEC Present Pianist Yuja Wang in Recital

Morningside Music Bridge (MMB), the groundbreaking barrier-free summer program for exceptional young musicians, celebrates its 30th anniversary season with a special performance by <a href="https://yujawang.com/">acclaimed pianist and MMB alumna Yuja Wang</a> on Sunday, July 12 at 7:30pm at New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall. Pianist Yuja Wang is celebrated worldwide for her charismatic artistry, emotional honesty, and captivating stage presence. Known for her technical brilliance and spontaneity, she has performed with many of the world’s most esteemed conductors, orchestras, and musicians. She has released numerous critically acclaimed recordings, earning multiple Grammy nominations and winning the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Classical Instrumental Solo for “The American Project.” Yuja first attended Morningside Music Bridge in 1998 and returned in 1999 and 2001 as a student. Since 2006 she has periodically returned to perform and teach.&nbsp;&nbsp; Program to be announced. Performance co-presented by Morningside Music Bridge and New England Conservatory

Embark on a whimsical journey through the mesmerizing cycle of water! This heartwarming story is centered around a single, endearing water droplet and its journey through the water cycle. With the guidance of a compassionate rainmaker, this tiny droplet embarks on an adventure, beginning high up among the clouds, before gracefully descending down to the earth. This immersive sensory production is brought to life with live baroque guitar music! &nbsp; Stay after the show to meet the artists and see the puppets up close! Plus, join us in the lobby for a craft inspired by the show, and enjoy dress-up station, coloring sheets, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk! You’ll meet Jamie, who loves to visit their very own cozy little cave. There, Jamie plays, makes up stories, and talks to a friendly Echo, and everything is familiar and as it should be. But one day, change follows them even to the cave, and Echo is missing! When Jamie sets out to get things back to normal, they soon discover that what goes on in their cave is more extraordinary than they ever imagined! &nbsp; Be among the first to see this world premiere from CactusHead Puppets. Using both big and small puppets, a cool cave set piece, shadow puppet bats, real science facts, and a dash of humor, CactusHead Puppets weaves a tale full of imagination and sweet poignancy about the tricky experience of learning to embrace change. &nbsp; Stay after the show to meet the artists and see the puppets up close!
