Join us for our first Romance Book Club of 2025! This session will be focused on Emily Henry's newest book, Funny Story. Make sure you read the whole book in advance, there will be spoilers! The host will be leading groups in discussion about the book. Don't miss this opportunity to share your theories and opinions on one of 2024s most popular romances! Each ticket earns you a $5 gift card to use in our cafe or bookstore. These will be distributed upon checking in. We will also have the next book club read available for purchase at the event. Sex and the City Trivia

I couldn't help but wonder... who is the biggest Sex and the City fan? Come help us figure it out this February! We will be hosting a Sex and the City themed trivia, with questions being mainly based off of the TV show rather than the movies. Get your group of gal pals and come on over! Food and Beverage will be available for purchase in the room. Every member of your party must purchase a ticket to enter. Please come at your assigned seating time. (All seating times are for the same game.)

Grammy's Watch Party

We will be staying open late for this years Grammys! Come cheer for your favorite pop stars while surrounded by friends! We will be streaming/celebrating the Grammy's for all to join. Dress as your favorite pop girly for our costume contest! There will be prizes for those who have the best guess at the nights winners as well as voting to see who the people's winner is. Seating begins at 7pm for anyone who wants to sit and eat early or watch the red carpet. We hope to see you there! Food &amp; Beverage will be available for purchase in the room. Join us for our new writers group! Specifically tailored towards our storytellers. Feel free to bring any project you're working on, whether it's a book, novel, chapbook, script, or textbook, we accept all! We will be implementing the pomodoro method. Meaning, there will be 15 minutes of quiet work time followed by a 5 minute break. We will jump between these two modes for about an hour and have an optional workshop at the end, where you can have your work read by fellow writers. Food &amp; Beverage will be available for purchase in the room. RSVPs are to gauge interest and not necessary to come to the event. Seating is first come, first serve.

Book Swap

Kick off the New Year with some new reads! Make new friends at our atypical book swap. You can bring up to 3 WRAPPED books to exchange. We will have slips for you to fill out with genre, tropes, etc. then you can display it. We will have brief mingling period to let people wander in then release groups to grab books. A few lucky raffle winners will receive extra books as well! We look forward to seeing you there. Food &amp; Beverage will be available for purchase in room. Sign ups are to gauge general interest for the event!

The Great Gatsby Screening

Start off the New Year right with our screening of The Great Gatsby! There is no where more perfect to experience the literary masterpiece that is The Great Gatsby. We will be meeting in the upstairs cafe for this instant classic. Seating will begin at 6:30pm. We try to use subtitles for all screenings, we will only skip the subtitles if there is an issue with our DVD. Food &amp; beverage will be served in the upstairs cafe.

Love Actually Screening

Get ready for the holidays with the Christmas classic, Love Actually! Fans and newbies alike will be watching the film together in our upstairs cafe. Join us for some seasonal sips and the ultimate Christmas Rom-Com. Seating begins at 6:30pm. Food &amp; beverage will be available for purchase in the upstairs cafe.

Storytime with the Grinch!

Join us for this very special story time with none other than... The Grinch! Our friend from the Boch Theater will be stopping by Trident during the Holiday Stroll to have story time in our event space, The Stacks. We will also be having a hot chocolate bar, children's book drive, holiday card making for charity, and a free gift wrapping station!&nbsp;

Holiday Trivia

Thanksgiving is OVER and it is officially time to get into the holiday spirit! We are kicking off snow season with a holiday themed trivia. We will be covering all things holiday (with a special focus on films and television!) Join us for some holiday cheer and spiked hot chocolate in the Stacks! Food and Beverage will be available for purchase. Refunds will be available on a case by case basis. Refunds can not be granted within 24 hours of the event.

Home Alone Screening

Now that Thanksgiving is over... we can officially get into the Christmas spirit! Join us for our Home Alone Screening this Saturday to kick off the holiday season. We will be in our upstairs cafe, enjoying some seasonal sips and celebrating this Christmas Classic! Seating starts at 6:30pm. Food &amp; Beverage will be available for purchase.

Friendsgiving Get-Together

Alone for Thanksgiving? Not anymore! Join us for first ever Friendsgiving get together. Those of us who are still in town for the holiday are going to gather in our upstairs dining room to play board games and watch the Thanksgiving episodes of Friends! We will also be adding some special Thanksgiving meals to the menu to make sure everyone gets the full experience. Come make new friends and enjoy the holiday with us. See you there!
