Boston Triathlon Weekend

Boston’s only triathlon returns for its 17th year on August 16-17, 2025, inviting athletes of all levels to swim, bike, and run along South Boston’s scenic waterfront. Produced by ethos, the Boston Triathlon features both Olympic and sprint distance races with a course that includes a swim at Carson Beach, a bike ride on William Day Boulevard, and a run in South Boston. In addition to the adult competitions, the 11th Annual Kids Day at the Boston Tri will take place on Saturday, August 16th, offering fun and age-appropriate races and activities designed to introduce children to the concept of multisport. There is a Fun Run for kids under the age of 6 yrs old and Splash n Dash races for kids between 7-15 yrs old. All kids’ events are FREE and kids of all ages are welcome to join. The Boston Triathlon also continues its commitment to athlete-first policies, with flexible options for deferrals, transfers, and refunds to make race planning easier and more accessible. 13th Annual Tough Ruck Marathon

On Sunday, April 20, 2025, 1,000 military personnel, first responders, and civilians from across the country will gather before dawn to honor their fallen comrades as part of the 2025 Tough Ruck held in partnership with the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) and the Boston Marathon. Participants will “ruck” 26.2 miles along the paths of the Revolutionary War, many in full military gear, including their rucksacks that weigh as much as 35 pounds on their backs. Tough Ruck raises funds for the Military Friends Foundation, a nonprofit that supports local service members and families of the fallen in times of need. The B.A.A. awards each Tough Ruck finisher an official Boston Marathon medallion. Finish line festivities include food vendors and kid-friendly activities. Mathmatik Athletics x KickBack Boston Neighborhood Watch Party + Pop Up

To celebrate raising the Celtics NBA Championship banner next week, Mathmatik Athletics and KickBack Boston are hosting a Neighborhood Watch Party and Pop Up at Dorchester Brewing Company on Tuesday, October 22nd. It is free to attend. This event will feature live music by DJ Jo, food (for purchase) by M&amp;M Barbecue, a backdrop activation for photo-ops, and a pop-up of Mathmatik Athletics' latest merch drop. Attendees will be the first to see the debut collection of Banner 18 Neighborhood Jerseys and purchase on-site (while supplies last). This drop is in celebration of the Celtics' 18th national NBA championship. Two event giveaways:<ul><li>As a bonus, the first 50 people to come to the watch party/pop-up and are wearing a Mathmatik jersey, or purchase one onsite, will be gifted a pair of Club C 85 sneakers, courtesy of Reebok. 11th Annual Massachusetts Run For The Fallen (5K)

On September 14, 2024, the Military Friends Foundation will host its 11th Annual Massachusetts Run For The Fallen to honor Massachusetts fallen heroes who have sacrificed their lives to support our freedom since 9/11. People can run, walk, ruck, or volunteer to show these fallen family members that we will never forget. &nbsp; In 2012, Military Friends Foundation, a non-profit, created the “Massachusetts Run For The Fallen” to honor those Massachusetts fallen heroes who have given their lives in military service since the September 11, 2001 attacks. The run is dedicated to keeping the legacy of these heroes alive and showing their families that we will never forget them. 100% of the race donations provide critical grants and programs for military families and families of fallen heroes in the Bay State.

Climb 4 Climate Boston 2024

<a href="https://www.climb4climate.org/" target="_blank">Climb 4 Climate</a>, a Boston-based non-profit on a mission to fight climate change will host its inaugural stadium stair-climbing event will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at iconic Harvard Stadium. Climate change is the existential crisis of our time. Millions of people want to be part of the solution. Only together can we beat climate change so take the first step with Climb 4 Climate. Registration for this first-time event is open now at events.climb4climate.org. The event will feature an immersive atmosphere charged with energy and purpose. Participants will climb up the concrete seats, 30 rows high, and down the steps in all 37 sections of Harvard Stadium. Climbers ascend alongside fellow athletes and eco warriors, the unmistakable feeling that we are all in this fight together is felt by every climber. Participants will feel a huge sense of accomplishment once they finish climbing the stadium.&nbsp;Experiencing the feat of climbing Harvard Stadium will help Climb 4 Climate Boston participants understand the importance of taking on other big challenges in their lives such as fighting climate change. Corporate partners and donors will also play a vital role in Climb 4 Climate’s mission and help generate more excitement around this event. Their support drives real environmental change and offers an opportunity to showcase their commitment to sustainability. Companies can further engage by forming corporate climbing teams and providing volunteer opportunities for their employees. Following the climb, participants and their families can enjoy the Climb 4 Climate “Festivo,” featuring activities for all ages, including food trucks and music, along with local businesses and climate action exhibitors.&nbsp; Early bird pricing for Climb 4 Climate Boston is available until midnight ET on August 8, 2024. The adult early bird fee will be $25, rising to $40 on August 10th. Adults must raise a minimum of $250 to participate in the climb. Students ages 13 to 18 will pay $15 before August 9th or $25 after that date, and must raise a minimum of $150 to participate. Climber raised funds from the Climb 4 Climate Boston event that will be directed to climate change organizations. The Climb 4 Climate’s Climate Advisory Board will determine the allocation and will select non-profits that demonstrate measurable and immediate climate action.

2024 Tough Ruck 26.2 Boston For the Fallen

Tough Ruck Nation is a group of military, first responders, and civilians whose sole purpose is to Ruck in honor and memory of Fallen Service Members, Police, Firefighters, and EMTs, while raising funds to support the families of the Fallen Warriors. The group marches with their 35+ pound rucks for a 26.2 mile marathon distance and carries the names of Fallen comrades with them. ​ On April 15, 2013, the Tough Ruckers were at the finish line of the Boston Marathon and joined the first responders to help those who were injured by the horrific blasts. Today, the Tough Ruck’s signature event, Tough Ruck 26.2 Boston, is held in partnership with the B.A.A. and it is held the weekend before Marathon Monday in Concord, MA. Each year, Tough Ruck 26.2 Boston finishers are awarded the first of the official Boston Marathon Medals and receive recognition from the B.A.A. Military Friends Foundation is proud to be the official charity of Tough Ruck Nation.
