Our September lineup has something for everyone — from learning watercolor techniques and designing your own journal to making stamps, testing your stationery knowledge, creating a custom pencil case, and celebrating the beauty of botanicals. Come create something, meet fellow stationery enthusiasts, and spend an afternoon or evening getting away from the screen and making something with your hands. 🎨 Watercolor Workshop — Sunday, September 6 Spend a creative afternoon learning the basics of watercolor with a special guest artist! Experiment with watercolor techniques, practice painting, and create your own artwork in a relaxed and welcoming environment. No previous watercolor experience is required — just bring your creativity and get ready to paint. 📓 Design a Journal — Thursday, September 10 Create a journal that is completely your own! Learn how to design and personalize your own journal while experimenting with papers, colors, decorations, and stationery. Whether you’re a dedicated journaler or have always wanted to start, this workshop is a fun opportunity to make something you’ll actually want to use. 🩷 Stamp Making Workshop — Sunday, September 13 Turn your own ideas into custom stamps! Learn the basics of stamp making and carve a design you can use again and again in your journals, letters, cards, and other creative projects. Come up with your own design or get inspired by the stationery around you. ❓ Stationery Trivia — Thursday, September 17 Think you know your stationery? Put your knowledge to the test! Join us for a fun, casual stationery trivia night covering everything from pens and paper to journaling, writing tools, and stationery culture. Bring your friends, form a team, and see how much of a stationery expert you really are. ✏️ DIY Pencil Case — Sunday, September 20 Make a pencil case designed specifically for your stationery collection! Customize your own pencil case with colors, decorations, and creative details that reflect your personal style. It’s the perfect project for anyone who loves collecting pens, pencils, markers, and all those little supplies that somehow always need a home. 🌸 Botanical Stationery — Wednesday, September 23 Bring a little bit of nature to your stationery collection with a botanical-themed creative night. Spend the evening making beautiful, nature-inspired stationery while experimenting with botanical designs, flowers, leaves, and other natural elements. A cozy way to celebrate the beginning of fall while creating something of your own. Boston Stationery Club is a Boston-based community for people who love stationery, journaling, paper crafts, drawing, and making things together. Our events are designed to be welcoming and social, so you don’t need to be an experienced artist or stationery expert to join us. We’ll learn: <ul><li>📄 How different papers are made </li><li>🏭 What they’re commonly used for (journaling, art, printing, stationery, and more) </li><li>🖊️ How inks and pens behave on different papers (feathering, ghosting, bleed-through, drying time) </li></ul>Throughout the presentation, you’ll test papers firsthand, compare samples, and discover which papers work best for your favorite supplies.
