Hammond Castle Museum
Hammond Castle Museum was constructed between 1926 and 1929 by inventor John Hays Hammond Jr in the style of a medieval castle. It served as his private residence, laboratory, housed his collection of ancient artifact and massive pipe organ. Visitors may explore its nearly 20 rooms including the Great Hall, Court Yard, Whisper Gallery/Library and Inventions Room as well as enjoy the striking beauty of the grounds and view of the Atlantic coast. The picturesque grounds were recently voted #4 Most Instagramable sites on the North Shore in the Best of the North Shore competition by Northshore Magazine.

The Museum offers rotating exhibits and educational and cultural arts programs including: concerts, movies, and candlelight and spiritualism tours. It is also available for private rentals. At nearly century old, the Museum is not handicapped accessible and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
