Bar Takeover with the Winemaker - Discover Friuli with Perusini Wines

Join Georgie's, Arborway Imports, and Perusini WInes on May 21st. Perusini is a historic estate located in the Colli Orientali subzone of Friuli, a northern wine-growing region on the border of Italy and Slovenia specializing in the production of lean and mineral-driven white wines. The Perusini family has been an integral part of Friulian viticulture since the early 19th century when Giacomo Perusini resurrected the winemaking practices in the region. Giacomo, alongside his brother Giampaolo, worked tirelessly on the vineyard and in the winery to revive the native grape varietals that up until that point had been mostly disregarded. Giacomo’s wife, Giuseppina handled the business of things, helping bring the wines of Friuli back onto the international market where they belonged. Today, the winery is operated by Giampaolo’s daughter Teresa and her husband Giacomo and their 3 sons. Experience and taste their pinot grigio, friulano, refosco, and a few surprise wines in a casual wine tasting flight with the winemaker. Flights are $30 each. A magnum is a large format bottle of wine that holds 1.5 liters, thats double the size of a standard bottle. Size definitly matters! Bar Takeover with Pasini San Giovanni & Arborway Imports

Join Georgie's, Arborway Imports, and Paolo Pasini the owner and winemaker of Pasini San Giovanni. Pasini San Giovanni was founded by Andrea Pasini in 1958 and is still run today by the family, now the third generation of winemakers. They’ve become a benchmark for the regions of Valtènesi and Lugana- both on the Brescia side of Lake Garda. Under the current guidance of cousins Paolo, Sara, and Luca, the their philosophy is focused on organic farming (fully certified as of 2016), biodiversity in the vineyards, indigenous varietals like Groppello and Turbiana, and a carbon neutral carbon footprint (their entire winery is run on solar). Wine Clue 🧐 - A Blind Tasting Mystery Game

Join Georgie's on January 30th anytime (it's open house style) between 5:00PM and 7PM for a game of Wine Clue, where you get the clues, the wines and need to find the identies of 6 mystery wines! about the case Detective Benoit “Pinot” Blanc is out of town solving a murder in Argentina and is asking you for your help. we’ve been given some wines that have become a complete mystery. He needs your help to figure out what they are (besides drop dead, amazingly good!). Tasting flights are $50 each and include 6 rounds (2oz pours each) of wine clue along with clue cards and tasting note. At the end of the evening, the person or team with the most points will be rewarded with a prize! Reservations not required but highly recommended.
