Join us on Sunday, May 31st to explore the newly updated playground at Carr Park! Monday Mosaics Workshop: FMFN Spirit Week

<a href="https://friendsofthemfn.org/we-heart-mfn/spirit-week/">Join the Fun of FMFN Spirit Week</a> From May 31st to June 6th, the <a href="https://friendsofthemfn.org/we-heart-mfn/spirit-week/">Friends of the MFN</a> are painting the city purple with a week-long celebration featuring events all over Medford for families, alumni, and supporters of all ages. Cut, design, and create your own mosaic frame or coaster set. A portion of proceeds will support MFN during <a href="https://friendsofthemfn.org/we-heart-mfn/spirit-week/">FMFN Spirit Week</a>. Join&nbsp;Live In Mosaics&nbsp;for a hands-on workshop where you’ll design and create your own 4x6 mosaic picture frame or set of 2 coasters. I’ll guide you through the full process - including how to&nbsp;cut glass tile&nbsp;(no experience needed), design your layout, and bring it all together piece by piece. You’ll have access to a curated mix of beautiful glass tiles so you can make something that feels completely your own. This workshop is&nbsp;beginner-friendly&nbsp;and all materials are provided. You’ll leave with your completed (ungrouted) mosaic frame or coasters, take-home grouting kit&nbsp;and&nbsp;a step-by-step video tutorial to finish your piece after the glue dries (24 hrs). Each piece comes out different and it’s something you’ll actually want to keep (or gift… if you can part with it). Come make something meaningful (and a little addictive)!

In honor of Spirit Week, your session can centered around the theme: "Community &amp; Connection" Come explore your identity, find your creative flow, and connect with other local parents. We’re turning the GABH patio into a giant community living room for a night of "Kindhearts" music and connection.<ul><li>5:00pm-7:00pm: Social Time. Arrive early to snag a spot, grab a drink, and order some pizza. The MFN team will be on-site with a table, merch, and "Village" info.</li><li>5:30pm-6:30pm: Music with Lindsay. Lindsay will host an acoustic, unplugged "Circle Time" right on the floor with the kids.</li></ul>The Details:<ul><li>The Dress Code: Pajamas and Teddy Bears are highly encouraged but not required!</li><li>Cost: Free / Pay-What-You-Can. Please reserve one "ticket" for each child attending. Adults do not need to be included in your registration count. FMFN’s Valentines Family Fest!

Help the <a href="https://friendsofthemfn.org/fmfns-valentines-family-fest/">FMFN</a> share the love for families, fun, community, sweets and more while raising money for the <a href="https://medfordfamilynetwork.org/">Medford Family Network</a>! We’re back again with a magical event: three incredible performances by a world-class magician, perfect for all families! The first show is a special sensory-friendly performance at 3:15 PM. If this performance is of interest to your family, please head directly to the auditorium when you arrive. Shows for all families follow at 4:15 PM and 5:15 PM, running for 30 minutes each. Get ready for an afternoon filled with excitement! There’ll be delicious pizza, yummy ice cream from <a href="http://cbscoops.com/">CB Scoops</a>, face painting for fantastic transformations, and fun crafts to keep the creativity flowing. All activities are available until 5 PM, but attending one of the magical shows is highly recommended to guarantee everyone gets a chance to participate. $10/person or $30 for the whole family! Children under 2 are free! Let’s celebrate families and community together!
