Join us at the Fenway Community Center every other Wednesday for a night of board games and treats! Bring your favorite games to play with the group or use some of the Center's games. Watercolor Workshop w/ Eli Portman

The Fenway Community Center is thrilled to welcome&nbsp;<a href="https://eliportman.weebly.com/" target="_blank">Eli Portman</a>&nbsp;back for a Watercolor Workshop! Registration includes a professional artist instructor and all supplies required to create your take home masterpiece. We are trying a new pay-what-you-can method for ticketing.&nbsp;There are multiple suggested prices, including 1 that helps offset the cost and 1 that covers the cost of individual participation in the workshop. Please purchase a ticket at the price that feels most appropriate to you. If you would like to contribute a different amount, please utilize the donation section, enter the amount you would like to donate&nbsp;(as little as $1)&nbsp;under the ticketing option 'Donations', and you will receive a ticket for the event as normal.

Knit & Crochet Night 

Join us for a cozy evening at the Center of working on your knit or crochet projects. All skills levels welcome! Bring your own project to continue, or use some of our limited materials to start a new project. Snacks and drinks will also be provided, and outside food is welcome. Summer Solstice Celebration: Mocktails & Summer Bucket Lists 

Join us for mocktails &amp; snacks to celebrate the longest day of the year! We will have bucket lists for you to plan out all of your summer adventures.

Center Cinema 

Join us at the Fenway Community Center for another movie night. This month’s movie pick will be in line with LGBTQIA+ Pride Month! Try to guess what movie we've picked based on the flyer. The film is rated R. Popcorn and drinks will be provided, but outside food is also allowed. Registration is appreciated to ensure we have enough snacks for everyone, but walk-ins are also welcome!

Resume Building Workshop 

Join us for a comprehensive resume-building workshop aimed at enhancing your resume and boosting your job prospects. Fenway CDC’s Career Coach Jumana Rasheed-Rosenfield will guide you through the essentials of creating a standout resume and provide individualized assistance to tailor it to your unique skills and experiences. Fenway Porchfest 2024 

Stroll the Fenway on June 15 to hear FREE musical performances at various locations around the neighborhood! This event would not be possible without volunteers who help oversee sites across the neighborhood. This year, Porchfest is a collaboration between the <a href="https://www.fenwaycdc.org/" target="_blank">Fenway Community Development Organization</a> and the <a href="https://fenwaycommunitycenter.org/" target="_blank">Fenway Community Center</a> as the organizing partners. <a href="https://www.fenwayporchfest.org/map/#schedule" target="_blank">See full schedule here</a>. Fenway Porchfest was founded in 2018 as a collaborative partnership among three Fenway organizations - Fenway Community Development Organization, Fenway Civic Association, and the Fenway Alliance. In June 2019, Fenway Porchfest hosted 36 locations throughout Fenway and over 85 performers! Due to the Covid pandemic, a music video celebrating the Fenway was organized in 2020 in lieu of an in-person event. Porchfest returned in 2022. Note: this is a FUN and FREE event! There is no need to register, unless you'd like to get reminders!

Join FCC Intern Meg for ESL (English as a second language) class. Practice your English in a supportive environment! This is a casual drop-in class.

Lunchtime Lettering 

This is an informal event that consists of spending lunch together (outside food welcome) and learning how to do calligraphy! Let us know by email: (hello@fenwaycommunitycenter.org) if you will need supplies and that you are planning to attend.

Blind Date with a Book

Leave with a new book “blind date”, meet fellow book lovers, and enjoy snacks &amp; drinks on us. We will have a limited supply of books on hand, but we encourage folks to bring a book to give away if they have one on hand. To do so: <ol><li>Choose a book from home you’d like to give away</li><li>Write a ‘dating profile’ bio for the book (without the title or author!)</li><li>Cover the book (with newspaper, wrapping paper, a bag, etc)</li><li>Bring the book with you to exchange</li></ol>

We look forward to staying active, healthy &amp; happy with you… Join Boston Conservatory students in an hour long dance class that will incorporate gentle, but challenging&nbsp;movement. Dance alongside the class leaders to new fun songs &amp; some oldies, but goodies. All you need is a stable chair &amp; yourself! All are welcome, no&nbsp;matter&nbsp;what skill or mobility level. No experience necessary. Happy Dancing!!
