Join us for a PORCH PARTY at Somerville Porchfest this year! We're breaking out our favorite covers and originals to deliver a porch party of epic proportions! Hill House is a Boston-based funk-pop band throwing full-blown dance parties disguised as live shows. We make our mark by taking funk, pop, &amp; everything in between and turning it into something loud, rambunctious, &amp; perfect for dancing the night away. The Far Out is a funk &amp; soul-pop band from the north shore of Massachusetts. Known for engaging audiences with lush vocals &amp; groovy horn lines, supported by undeniable chemistry &amp; raw star quality, you’ll often catch the group switching roles mid-show – passing guitars around, moving from lead vocals to horn section, or stealing a moment behind the keys.

Summer Kickoff Party

Join three thrilling bands in kicking off summer the right way! The night will feature performances by Boston’s own Hill House The Band and The Far Out, and special guests All Night Boogie Band from Burlington, Vermont. Each group brings their own sound to hot-off-the-press original music, today’s hits, and throwbacks from the 10’s and before. Whatever the sound of summer is to you—playful pop, soulful blues, energetic funk—the place to hear it first is the Crystal Ballroom!
