Plant and Seed Swap

The Plant and Seed Swap is back! Bring your plant cuttings, seedlings, potted mature plants and seeds to swap on Saturday, June 15th, 2-4 PM! Bring extra seeds to donate to the Watertown Free Public Library ‘Seed Library’ -	Please label all plants, cuttings and seeds -	All varieties of live houseplants, outdoor plants, aquatic plants and seeds welcome -	Try to ensure plants are pest/disease-free -	Bring a couple of empty pots to take your plants home in -	All plants and seeds will be offered free-of-charge Dara Cheek of Wildkraft, LLC will be on-hand to answer your plant care questions and assist with repotting. <a href="https://osome-cafe.square.site/">O'Some Cafe</a> of Main Street, Watertown will be there offering delicious beverages and snacks! -	If you have plants to swap but aren’t certain of their names, check in with Dara at the event -	There is no guarantee that plants will be pest-free, quarantining new plants from existing ones for two weeks is recommended - Looking for a specific plant or seeds? Post in the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/share/19Chx33Npk/">Watertown/Belmont Plant Exchange</a> Swap Facebook event page with your requests! -	If you don’t have plants or seeds to gift, but hope to pick up a new plants or seeds to take home, that’s ok too. -	Nibbling pets at home? Check to ensure any plants you adopt are non-toxic to furry friends.

Botanical Libations: Spirits As Medicine

Explore the history and art of medicinal botanical spirits and make your own custom infused spirit to take home! In this workshop, we'll explore how some of the most famous spirits began as treatments for common ailments. Participants will taste the botanicals that are responsible for the signature flavors of gin, chartreuse, rum, elderflower liqueur, and others. We'll taste various botanical infusions and participants will develop their own custom, botanical blend to create their own infused spirit. 21+ Free parking available in the Arsenal garage Register <a href="www.mosesianarts.org/product/1866" target="_blank">here</a> This workshop is part of the Edible Watertown Initiative of Watertown Public Arts and Culture. Support for this workshop was provided by a grant from MAPC to Watertown Public Arts and Culture.
