Youth-Only Rock Climbing Event

This is a special youth-only (13 and under) 3-hour event for outdoor rock climbing at Hammond Pond. Events are a great way to try out outdoor climbing for a bargain. Running 3 hours long, these group events have public slots that anyone can sign up for. Join others in groups of up to 8 climbers as we explore local Boston climbing walls and make some awesome memories. All gear is provided, and the ropes will be rigged by our amazing team of instructors. College Rock Park Rock Climbing Event

College Rock is a fantastic small crag located in Hopkinton, about 40 min south-west of Boston. The rock wall here is a medium height, with walls up to 40 ft tall. The climbing at College Rock is mostly face climbing (the style of climbing you most-commonly find in the gym) as well as some fun short chimneys. We recommend college rock for anyone that is looking for a challenge, but you can find fun routes of any grade here. Events are a great way to try out outdoor climbing for a bargain. Running 3 hours long, these group events have public slots that anyone can sign up for. Guided Outdoor Rock Climbing

In our opinion, Red Rock Conservation Area is the best location near Boston for your first time climbing outside, but it also has some challenges for more experienced climbers. This area features many cracks that lend themselves well to laybacking and footjams as well as some climbs that are great introductions to outdoor slab climbing. The wall is fairly tall, with many routes getting up to 60 ft in length. Located about 40 min North-East of Boston in West Gloucester, from the top of the wall you can even get some views of the ocean on a clear day. If you are not driving to Red Rock, you can access it via the commuter rail on the T. The trailhead is located about a mile away from the ‘West Gloucester’ stop along the ‘Newburyport/​Rockport’ line. Events are a great way to try out outdoor climbing for a bargain. Hammond Pond is a great small crag with so much to offer. The rock here is a unique conglomerate material that makes the climbing feel new and fun. Many of the routes at this crag are also very good for crack climbing, a climbing technique that is hard to get expose to anywhere except the great outdoors. It is going to be fun, adventurous, and full of great new climbing movement, even for experienced gym climbers. This crag is even accessible via the 'Riverside' T stop along the green line. Events are a great way to try out outdoor climbing for a bargain. Running 3 hours long, these group events have public slots that anyone can sign up for. Join others in groups of up to 8 climbers as we explore local Boston climbing walls and make some awesome memories.
