Community Servings: Sizzle & Serve: Cooking Demo & Volunteer

Join CSYL at our Summer event: a fun cooking demo lead by Community Serving's RDN's where we learn new recipes and volunteer! Sizzle &amp; Serve: Cooking Demo &amp; Volunteer Come join us for a fun-filled evening at Community Servings hosted by CYSL! Roll up your sleeves and&nbsp;volunteer&nbsp;with us in the kitchen then learn some vegetarian cooking tips and tricks at our "Summer Cookout" themed&nbsp;cooking demo. Our experienced registered dietitians will demonstrate some unique protein-packed vegetarian recipes to bring to your next summer BBQ! Additionally, we'll host a&nbsp;potluck contest!&nbsp;Bring your favorite cookout dishes/salad/sides to share and we'll vote on the winners at the end! 1st place winner and runner up will receive a prize! It's a great opportunity to give back to the community while having a blast. Don't miss out on this chance to&nbsp;sizzle&nbsp;and&nbsp;serve&nbsp;with us! Whats on the menu?! <ul><li>Black Bean Burger</li><li>Chipotle Chickpea Corn Salad</li><li>Your creations!</li></ul>NOTE:&nbsp;Your potluck dish does not have to be vegetarian. However, Community Servings is a nut-free facility so please leave any nuts/peanuts out. Here’s the lineup: 4-6pm: Volunteer in Kitchen 6-8(ish)pm: Cooking Demo, Potluck &amp; Mingling Tickets are FREE if you volunteer or are a suggested donation of $30 if you attend only the Cooking Demo.
