Rebirth, Reimagine

Substation Community Supporters in partnership with <a href="https://www.createartincommunity.com/">Create: Art in Community</a> and <a href="https://www.alisoncroney.com/">Croney Moses Designs</a> will host the Rebirth &amp; Reimagine Art Exhibition. After seeking work in any medium that expresses a sense of rebirth, reimagination, and renewal, starting today and until 10/26, enjoy the exhibition on the Main Level of the space. Exhibition open to public Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. *During the Beer Hall hours, the exhibition will be opened!

🍻 It’s Oktoberfest, and we’re raising a glass to celebrate with some amazing brews!  On draft, we have Redemption Rock’s Thackery—a classic German-style lager with toasted bread, noble hop aromas, subtle caramel, and dark fruit notes. Its balanced body and crisp finish make it the perfect fall beer! 🍂✨ For those who prefer cans, grab Brockton Beer’s Brocktober—a rich marzen lager bursting with warm fall flavors that will make you want to savor every sip. 🍁🍺 Which Oktoberfest beer are you trying first on Friday?

Noche de Salsa

Join us for a salsa lesson with Salsa y Control and a dance party with DJ Flaquito! Enjoy empanadas sold by Buenos Aires, and The Substation will be serving up its selection of craft beer, wine, and canned cocktails.  Dance lesson: 7:30-8:30pm Dance party: 8:30pm-12am Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door, inclusive of the class and dance party. See you on the dance floor!

Community Concert: Hot Suppers and Louder Than Milk

The Hot Suppers are beloved musicians of Waldo County, Maine who meld captivating original music with their favorite rock, blues, old country, and Americana tunes for a sound that is dynamic, harmonic, rhythmic and electric! Don't be doing anything crazy like cutting the lawn or washing the dishes when you could be hanging out with this lively bunch! Louder Than Milk's music is a blend of roots folk, country, rock and blues. We write our own material and each of our songs go through the churn of ‘what about?’ and ‘what if?’ and happy accidents until we have something that cooks up nice. Beer, wine, and snacks will be for sale! All bar sales directly support&nbsp;Substation Community Supporters, a nonprofit organization supporting arts and cultural programming at, and historic preservation of, the substation building in Roslindale.
