Nació en Ciudad de México y se crió en Coatepec, en el estado de Veracruz. Hija de padre chileno, pianista, constructor de clavecines y divulgador de la música barroca; y de madre mexicana, pedagoga y creadora del método Macarsi para la formación musical. Cuando Natalia tenía 6 años, recibió la patada de un caballo en la cabeza que le generó una herida casi imborrable. Su madre desarrolló y aplicó un método basado en la música que ayudó a la recuperación de su hija. Esta experiencia despertó en Natalia una profunda fascinación por la música desde muy temprana edad. Su primer disco homónimo fue editado en el verano de 2002, cuando tenía 18 años. En este y su segundo álbum, Casa, Natalia transitó con soltura el bossa nova, la dulzura del bolero clásico y la efervescencia del rock alternativo. La frescura y la sensibilidad a flor de piel de sus letras reflejaban una cosmovisión llena de esperanza. En 2007, compuso una suite sinfónica inspirada en el amor y las cuatro estaciones de la naturaleza, y lo grabó en Veracruz con una orquesta juvenil. Ya en ese entonces Natalia disfrutaba de hacer realidad sueños que parecían imposibles. En 2012 presentó Mujer divina, un conmovedor tributo a la obra de Agustín Lara, que despertó en ella el deseo de homenajear el cancionero latinoamericano inspirándose en las joyas de compositores como Violeta Parra, María Grever y Simón Díaz Tiempo después, su colaboración con el dúo de guitarras acústicas Los Macorinos generó los dos LPs de Musas: un homenaje al folclore latinoamericano, que combinan canciones propias con clásicos del folclor latino como “Tú me acostumbraste”, “Soy lo prohibido”” y “Duerme negrito” interpretándolas con su sello personal. En 2015 lanzó el disco Hasta la raíz, uno de sus trabajos más reconocidos con el que siguió consolidándose como una de las artistas más importantes de su generación. La canción con título homónimo se convirtió rápidamente en un himno a lo largo del mundo y a través de generaciones. En 2020 y 2021, renovó su contacto con las raíces mediante los dos volúmenes de Un canto por México, en los que revisita temas como “Cien años” y “La llorona” en compañía de almas afines: Mon Laferte, Pepe Aguilar, Rubén Blades y Silvana Estrada, entre otros. La colaboración con artistas de otros géneros es una aventura que le ha permitido explorar sonoridades lejanas a su zona de confort, pero también reafirmar su propia visión. “Nunca es suficiente”, la nostálgica cumbia de corazones rotos que grabó en 2018 junto a Los Ángeles Azules, se convirtió en el video mexicano más visto de todos los tiempos, con más de dos mil millones de reproducciones. Además, ha colaborado como arreglista, productora, compositora e intérprete junto a artistas como Juan Gabriel, Omara Portuondo, Jorge Drexler, Leonel García, Kevin Johansen, Gilberto Gil, Miguel, Jon Batiste, y Devendra Banhart, entre otros. Para Natalia, la música es el centro de la existencia, pero no su única fuente de inspiración. Un canto por México surgió de un concierto que organizó a fines de 2019 para reconstruir el Centro de Documentación del Son Jarocho, en Jáltipan de Morelos en México, afectado por dos terremotos. Y la Fundación Natalia Lafourcade fue creada para promover la educación musical a través de la tradición y el folclor de México y de toda Latinoamérica. De todas las flores, su último disco de estudio, fue grabado en vivo con cinta analógica durante sesiones en Sonic Ranch Studios en El Paso Texas y Acuyo Studio en Veracruz en octubre de 2021, donde los músicos permanecieron alejados del resto del mundo, comunicándose entre ellos con la intuición. Su caleidoscopio de jazz experimental, balada vanguardista y un pop tropical retro y soleado dan lugar al encuentro entre la tragedia y la calidez, entre el desasosiego y la aceptación. Como parte de este nuevo universo musical lanzó también un libro homónimo y “De Todas las Flores, El podcast”, donde nos presenta conversaciones reflexivas con invitados especiales sobre cada una de las canciones del disco. El estreno del disco se llevó a cabo en el Carnegie Hall de Nueva York con David Byrne, Jorge Drexler y Omara Portuondo como invitados de honor. Durante los conciertos, Natalia apareció en el escenario con una falda negra de la cual se liberaba a mitad del show. Fue una gira extensa, que abarcó más de 10 países y agotó entradas en lugares icónicos con su innovadora propuesta escénica. De todas las flores ganó un GRAMMY a Mejor Álbum Latino de Rock o Alternativo, y el Latin GRAMMY a Grabación del Año. En diciembre de 2024 lanzó “Live at Carnegie Hall”, su última producción discográfica, que surge de la grabación de su actuación en vivo en el legendario recinto musical neoyorquino. She was born in Mexico City and raised in Coatepec, in the state of Veracruz. Daughter of a Chilean father, a pianist, organ builder, and promoter of Baroque music; and a Mexican mother, an educator and creator of the Macarsi method for musical training. When Natalia was six years old, she was kicked in the head by a horse, resulting in a nearly permanent injury. De todas las flores, her most recent studio album, was recorded live on analog tape during sessions at Sonic Ranch Studios in El Paso, Texas, and Acuyo Studio in Veracruz in October 2021. The musicians were immersed in isolation, connecting through pure intuition. Now in the seventh decade of his professional life,&nbsp;HERBIE HANCOCK&nbsp;remains where he has always been: at the forefront of world culture, technology, business and music. Herbie Hancock has been an integral part of every popular music movement since the 1960's. As a member of the Miles Davis Quintet that pioneered a groundbreaking sound in jazz, he also developed new approaches on his own recordings, followed by his work in the 70s — with record-breaking albums such as "Headhunters" — that combined electric jazz with funk and rock in an innovative style that continues to influence contemporary music. "Rockit" and "Future Shock" marked Hancock's foray into electronic dance sounds; during the same period he also continued to work in an acoustic setting with V.S.O.P. Hancock received an Academy Award for his Round Midnight film score and 14 Grammy Awards, including Album Of The Year for "River: The Joni Letters," and two 2011 Grammy Awards for the globally collaborative CD, "The Imagine Project." Hancock serves as Creative Chair for Jazz for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and as Institute Chairman of the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz. In 2011 Hancock was named a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, and in December of 2013, received a Kennedy Center Honor. His memoir, Herbie Hancock: Possibilities, was published by Viking in 2014, and in February 2016 he was awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Hancock is currently in the studio at work on a new album.

The current hit series Penn &amp; Teller: Fool Us! for The CW Network, on which up-and-comers and magic veterans try to fool Penn &amp; Teller for a chance to star in the pair’s hit Las Vegas stage show, was nominated for a Critic’s Choice Award and has been renewed for an unprecedented 11th season. The show is the longest continual American magic television series in history, introducing the art to new fans and cultivating new generations of innovators within the craft. Hundreds of outrageous appearances on everything from Fallon to Friends, The Simpsons to Colbert, Modern Family to Big Bang Theory, plus their own specials for NBC, ABC, PBS and Comedy Central have garnered them an Emmy, a Writers Guild Award, and their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The controversial Showtime series, Penn &amp; Teller: BS! was nominated for 13 Emmys and was the longest-running series in the history of the network. The show highlighted the pair’s ardent skepticism by tackling the fakes and frauds behind such topics as alien abduction, psychics, and bottled water. In recent years they have become acclaimed documentarians with the BAFTA-nominated Sony Pictures Classic release, Tim’s Vermeer, which follows Texas-based inventor Tim Jenison on his quest to discover the methods used by Dutch Master painter Johannes Vermeer. Their other films, the critically-lauded feature The Aristocrats and the Showtime short The Gambler’s Ballad, were met with wide praise. The Olivier-nominated Magic Goes Wrong, written and created in collaboration with Mischief Theatre (creators of the Tony-nominated The Play That Goes Wrong), played at London’s West End Vaudeville Theatre, setting a box office pre-sale record. The Daily Mail hailed it as a “Spellbinding romp,” while The Sun theater critic raved, “I’ll be laughing into next week.” In 2024, they had two shows running Off-Broadway as creators and producers: the Magic Goes Wrong spin-off The Mind Mangler, which returned to London’s West End in March, and the technology/magic/thriller Stalker. As individuals, they are just as prolific. Teller directed versions of Macbeth and The Tempest which toured to raves from The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, co-wrote and directed the Off-Broadway thriller Play Dead and has written two books. Penn has written five books, including the New York Times Best Sellers “God No!” and “Presto”. He hosted the NBC game show Identity and donned his ballroom shoes for ABC’s hit Dancing With The Stars. Last season, together, Penn &amp; Teller were unmasked after several spirited performances on The Masked Singer. Twice named “Magicians of the Year” by the Academy of Magical Arts, the equivalent of the Oscars in magic, they were named the 2024 Masters Fellowship recipients, the highest honor the Academy bestows. The pair live in Las Vegas where they are engaged in their community, acting as honorary chairmen for AFAN (Aid for AIDS Nevada), raising and donating nearly $2 million and serving as grand marshals for AFAN’s annual Las Vegas AIDS Walk for the past 23 years. Through their involvement with Opportunity Village, which assists in employment placement and lifestyle betterment for those living with intellectual disabilities, they have raised over $1 million. The annual blood drive, Penn &amp; Teller’s 13 Bloody Days of Christmas, has resulted in over 85,000 donors since its inception. In 2023, they took part in the USO’s annual Christmas tour, entertaining thousands of servicemen and servicewomen in bases across Europe. In 2025, the pair celebrates 50 years as innovators in combining smart, edgy comedy with their unique magical style.

'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE... is Cirque du Soleil's first holiday show, based on the classic poem “A Visit from Saint Nicolas” by Clement Clarke Moore. This festive show brings a flurry of love, Christmas cheer, thrilling acrobatics and hugely lovable characters that will create a new holiday tradition for families to cherish. It’s the holidays, and this year, things are different. For years, Isabella and her father have read “A Visit from Saint Nicholas” “Twas the Night Before Christmas” together. But this year Isabella feels like she’s outgrown the family tradition. But then the magic of the poem comes to life, and Isabella and her father are unexpectedly separated by a snowstorm that sends them on a fantastical journey. In a winter wonderland inspired by the poem, they discover whimsical characters, acrobats, children and reindeer who reunite father and daughter in the holiday spirit.
