Celebrating Two Years in Business 

Rockport Massachusetts: The magic of two years being in business begins in Rockport MA. Apothecary Suil Crow - a woman owned and run business celebrates their two year anniversary. Focused on the community and providing Olde World remedies and handmade products, this adorable storefront located at 9 Whistlestop Mall offers a delightful collection of unique products. Over half the shop consists of local merchants and made in the US items. Off the beaten path of other shops in Rockport, this shop is open year round helping those in the community find gifts for themselves or loved ones whenever needed. Within their walls you will find homemade preserves including jellies, jams, marmalade's and butters, homemade real Italian pasta from Topsfield MA, handmade jewelry from Rockport and Gloucester, hand-painted canvased works of art from East Street Studio of Ipswich Ma, and a little twist of magic from candles, incense sticks and oils. As they continue their passion of offering herbal remedies their annual free herbal garden outside welcomes patrons of all ages with signage of spiritual connection and health benefits. Rebeccah Pearson, owner of Apothecary Suil Crow, “opening up our doors two years ago in a beautiful community such as Rockport continues to be an enlightening experience. Nesting Doll Course

Nesting Dolls SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2023 AT 5 PM – 7 PM Join us for a special night of creating one of the oldest and most enjoyed treasures. The nesting doll was born in China during the Song Dynasty as long ago as 960AD – 1279 AD! It started with The Chinese crafting nesting boxes. They symbolized ingenuity and gradually evolved into dolls, the smallest of which could be as tiny as a nail! Although the nesting dolls are most commonly associated with Russia, they have a counterpart in Japanese culture. These are the wooden dolls known as kokeshi on which Anatoly Mamontov had based the original matryoshkas. During this course you will receive your own set of hand carved set of 6 dolls that are yours to paint. We will have stencils to use if needed, but we invite all to use their creative minds to paint their own! All supplies are included! Course is limited to 6 people!

October Month Of Magical Courses

October Month Of Enchantment The month of October holds mystery and wonder and as the veil creeps closer to opening the world around us opens its powers as well. So for the month of October we have created Sundays of mystery and wonder at Apothecary Suil Crow. Each Sunday leading up to Samhain we have various courses available for all to enjoy. Each course is $60 or reserve all 4 courses for $200. Each course runs from 5-7pm. We begin with: Mirror Magic October 1st - learn to find the answers from the past to present and future in the mirror that reflects all and connects to an alternate realm. Each person will receive a mirror that they can bring home with them, and will learn the ancient art for mirror magic! Bones and Crones October 8th - connect with bones of a spirit animal. Each person attending will receive real skeleton remains from an animal that has been blessed by a Native American tribe we are affiliated with. These bones have been blessed by their Shaman. Shamanism is a system of religious practice. Our fellow practitioners come from indigenous and tribal societie where their shamans have a connection to the otherworld, and have the power to heal the sick, communicate with spirits, and escort souls of the dead to the afterlife. With guidance from them and from many years of mutual respect and teachings we share an old tradition of connection to these animals to assist you in divination workings. Water Scrying October 15th - Traditionally, scrying has been portrayed through the popular image of the psychic gazing over her crystal ball. But scrying, like all esoteric practices, is not about seeing the future … the future can’t be seen, it can only be speculated based on present moment information. The word “scrying” actually comes from the Old English word descry which means “to make out dimly” or “to reveal.” Therefore, scrying is about revealing the unseen through the use of our in-born second sight. Second sight is our capacity to see things that can’t usually be perceived through our five senses. Water scrying has been used for hundreds of years way before crystal balls and fire reading. Come discover your connection to your second sight! The Witches Ball Course October 22nd - the witches ball has been in use since the 1600’s where practitioners would creat class infused balls using special herbs and flowers and other items to cast desired will into the universe! Stating it’s tradition in Ireland, Scotland and England, and so we begin it from there as well with handblown glass balls right from the original area where it all began! Each course is limited to a specific amount of seats available! So plan your enchanted month with us at Apothecary Suil Crow and come discover the magic in you!

Jack-o’-lantern Carving Event

This October join the shops at the Whistlestop Mall as we dive into a spooktacular event for the whole family! Choose your pumpkin, choose your store team and carve your best jack-o’-lantern! Each person will receive a pumpkin, pumpkin carving kit, and black marker to create your terrifyingly fabulous design and a battery powered candle! Each paying participant can bring up to three helpers to create their masterpiece! At the end of the event you will place your pumpkins on-top of hay in-front of your store chosen and the community will vote on best pumpkin! Each store winner will receive a giant trophy! This event will take place Saturday the 14th rain date Saturday the 21st from 3-6pm in October! So come celebrate one of the oldest traditions of Halloween (Samhain) and get your pumpkin carving groove on! Each chance to carve a pumpkin is only $15 which covers the pumpkin, carving kit and candle. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by adult supervision. After the town has gotten a chance to vote each participant will be contacted to pick up their pumpkin to enjoy at their home! Ceremonial Drumming Course

The Ceremonial drum course will go over basic drum rhythms to connect with chakras, divination techniques and meditation and beginners chants. You will also receive a drum along with drumming wand that you can decorate at another time with elements of nature to give it your own personal touch. This course is limited to 6 people. Cauldron Magic Course

Witches Cauldron Course September 16th 5-7pm $100 per person - No Refunds Samhain is deemed by most Wiccans/Pagans/Druids and Spiritually Connected individuals to be the most important of the four "greater Sabbats.” Samhain is seen by all as a time to celebrate the lives of those who have died, and it often involves paying respect to ancestors, family members, elders of the faith, friends, pets and other loved ones who have died. This year we gear up for Samhain at Apothecary Suil Crow as we bring back one of the most practiced and eldest of Authentic Witches Traditions to you. For two hours you will boil, brew, bless and dress true witches cauldron recipe to prepare you for your blessing of loved ones that have past on. We will be supplying everyone with their own: REAL CAST IRON CAULDRON, WOODEN PESTLE AND All INGREDIENTS. Weather permitting this course will be held outside our shop location under a lantern lit tent, or inside if the universe decides to storm. Rose Water Course The rose water originated in Persia (present-day Iran). In fact, even today, 90% of the world's rose water comes from Iran. One of the most ancient flowers, roses originated in Central Asia and spread from there. In Greek and Roman culture, roses were revered as symbols of love and beauty. Roses stood as a symbol for the Greek goddess Aphrodite and her Roman equivalent, Venus. In Greek mythology, rose bushes were said to bloom from the ground through the tears and blood of Aphrodite and her lover, Adonis. The name Rosewater came from the beverage of the same name, made by soaking rose flower petals in water. It is a light, pink blush hue that is created by mixing a bit of red with white. Rosewater is typically associated with love, empathy, attraction, and femininity. This course is limited to 6 people

Brigid Doll Course

These beautiful straw dolls are called Brigid Dolls named after St Brigid of Ireland. She symbolically represents fertility, fortune and the awakening nature. According to pagan custom, Brigid Dolls are crafted then on Candlemas (in February) they are placed into little “beds” next to the fireplace, to welcome light and fortune to the home.
