Join us for a reading of a new play by the Dorchester Weather Theatre Ensemble! The Lot Next Door is a wacky exploration of real life dynamics at the intersection of neighborhood development, environmental justice and social resilience. Produced and devised in collaboration with local artists and activists, this play is part of an ongoing process to advocate for green space and demonstrate how these spaces can enhance public life. Come be part of our first pop-up event, Yard Work, at 44 Moultrie St for a day of artmaking and community fun. Yard Work is a series of interactive stations that invite you to envision possibilities for our neighborhood and beyond. You’ll get to craft an artifact from the lot’s mythic past, write a headline from an alternate timeline, participate in a mock debate on current issues and more! Drop in or stay the whole time!
