19th Annual Films At The Gates

Films At The Gate (FATG) is a three-day, bilingual film festival, organized and run by ACDC youth. The festival attracts over 700 attendees annually, bringing together people of all backgrounds, ages, and neighborhoods to enliven Chinatown. FATG revives the spirit of the Chinatown movie theaters that shut down due to rise in video rental stores in the 1980s. By introducing this tradition to future generations, the festival anchors the shared experiences of Chinese-language films back into the fabric of Chinatown’s community.⁠ Catch live performances—plus a photobooth, movies, games, and surprises waiting just for you! 🎤🎞️🎉⁠ ⁠ 📅 Friday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 24th⁠ 🕐 5:30-10:00pm each night⁠ 📍At the Chinatown Gate, along the John F.
