The Makers: A celebration honoring emerging artists of color in Boston

Join us for a celebration honoring The Makers, 10 emerging artists of color shaping the culture and arts landscape in Greater Boston. This free event is the culmination of a weeklong <a href="https://www.wbur.org/news/2024/10/07/the-2024-makers">online and on-air editorial series</a> from WBUR's arts and culture team.<br><br>Meet the honorees and enjoy food, drinks and special performances from saxophonist <a href="https://www.wbur.org/news/2024/10/06/the-makers-jonathan-suazo">Jonathan Suazo</a>, violinist <a href="https://www.wbur.org/news/2024/10/06/the-makers-pranav-swaroop">Pranav Swaroop</a>, Rheya Shano choreographed by <a href="https://www.wbur.org/news/2024/10/06/the-makers-elizabeth-mochizuki">Elizabeth Mochizuki</a> and singer-songwriter <a href="https://www.wbur.org/news/2024/10/06/the-makers-naomi-westwater">Naomi Westwater</a>. Artwork from photographer <a href="https://www.wbur.org/news/2024/10/06/the-makers-feda-eid">Feda Eid</a> will also be on display in our lobby.<br><br>
