The tavern was frequented by Paul Revere and George Washington’s funeral speech was given there. Though ghosts have been seen wandering all over the hotel, Room 303, the site of an unsolved murder, is known to be the hub of paranormal activity. There are frequent reports of seeing the original owner Harvey D. Parker as well. He supposedly materializes at the foot of your bed and asks how your stay is going. The space was originally a men-only club and when they finally put in a ladies restroom they had to carve it into a creepy back corner of the restaurant. Locals claim the restaurant is haunted by the residents who used to live upstairs. People have reported seeing a fashionable nineteenth-century woman walking through the space. 6) <a href="https://libertyhotel.com/restaurants-bars/clink/">CLINK at The Liberty Hotel</a> <img src="https://media.thebostoncalendar.com/image/upload/v1728326717/The%206%20Most%20Haunted%20Restaurants%20in%20Boston/The_6_Most_Haunted_Restaurants_in_Boston_.006_iqs1l7.jpg"> Where: Beacon Hill Info: The Liberty Hotel used to serve as the Charles Street Jail where grim Boston criminals served their time. It housed some famous inmates including anarchists Sacco and Vanzetti and Whitey Bulger. Diners and hotel guests have felt the shiver-inducing presence of former jailmates throughout the property.
