Show and Tell: Blocks, Plates, Screens and Stones

Join us on Saturday 8/29 from 4-6 pm for Show and Tell: Blocks, Plates, Screens and Stones - a demonstration of printmaking techniques with Andrew Stearns of <a href="https://newimpressionsprintstudio.com/">New Impressions Print Studio</a>. In conjunction with our current exhibition, Working Backwards, which highlights the work of fifteen printmakers, Andrew Stearns (one of the featured artists) will take us step-by-step through the process of creating a print. Printmaking is a highly technical process that can be tricky to understand; Stearns will demonstrate the tools and techniques that a printmaker employs to help us visualize the process. A reception with refreshments will begin at 4, and the demonstration will start around 4:20 pm. Extremely limited seating is available, so please be prepared to stand for the duration of the event.
