Sandy Netburn live at Wex Rex Gallery's soft launch party

Sandy Netburn was born to perform. And the teenage singer, songwriter, guitarist, ventriloquist, and producer from Long Island is showcasing why as she christens a new arts venue in Massachusetts this week. On Thursday, June 4, Netburn becomes the first artist to perform live at Wex Rex Gallery, a new artist-driven performance space at Gary Sohmers’ emporium of popular cultural artifacts retail store located at 312 Main St. in Hudson. Netburn headlines the soft launch opening, performing live as part of the newly-launched Storefront Storytellers series. The bill also features Jon Stetson, America’s master mentalist, and Sohmers as host and MC. Doors are at 6 p.m., and Sandy performs at 7 p.m. There is no cover to attend.&nbsp; The Wex Rex Gallery is part of a 2,000-square-foot expansion to the Wex Rex retail store, which will feature a gallery for artifacts, art, and collectibles surrounding a space for in-store performances, auctions, readings, comedy, magic and other special events. The space includes 75 comfortable seats and standing room for another 25, and will be used for various types of promotional and concert experiences. And no one better than Netburn to break in that stage, especially after just releasing her debut album Issues on vinyl.
