Healthy love, Healthy mind: meditation class with Gen Khedrub

Our mind has limitless potential. But we can easily find ourself stuck in repetitive ways of thinking and behaving. Buddha taught many gentle methods to help us transform our mind and break free from old habits. Buddha also taught ways to stabilize more realistic, constructive and positive views, intentions and actions. It all starts with understanding and transforming our own mind. This Wednesday meditation classes take a practical look at Buddha’s wisdom teachings and how it can be applied to our modern life.&nbsp; Each week will include: <ul><li>guided breathing meditation&nbsp;</li><li>a short teaching on how to access more inner calm and kindness&nbsp;</li><li>a concluding contemplative time</li><li>Q&amp;A time&nbsp;</li></ul>Healthy love, Healthy mind February 4: Love vs. Attachment Understanding the difference between healthy love and neediness. February 11: Growing Genuine Love Cultivating affectionate, cherishing, and wishing love. February 18: Letting Go of Painful Patterns Healing the habits that undermine our relationships. February 25: Love With Wisdom Creating balanced, spacious, and lasting connections. There is free street parking after 6pm. Gen Kelsang Khedrub is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston.&nbsp;He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 30 years. Gen Khedrub has served as a Resident Teacher in Chicago and in Seattle, and over the years he has taught special events and led meditation retreats around the country. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone.
