Eat Like A Viking: Foods from the Norse Lands *In-Person*

The food of the Norse lands was influenced by the short growing season and their flourishing overseas trade. The Danes and Scandinavians imported fruits and vegetables from across Europe, to supplement their fish, grain and livestock. In this class, we will make a meal of Viking-style goose stew, wheat frumenty with cheese—a porridge with greens and cheese, and lingonberry bread in a bag. Instructor: Michael McComas This class will meet in-person at CCAE.
